lessons to perfect lj ???
it's explained in the longjumps guide, just study the part when they explain prestrafe (A+W / D+W) and try to copy it. then just practise it alot:D
i've seen the guide but i thought you've got better/easier explanation for prestrafe... sometimes i can do 235 easily but somtimes is 230 big problem... i don't know why :( (trying on kz_longjumps)
same for me, i am terrible @ prestrafing, it feels weird because when i press A+d at the same time my player goes straight, and i cant figure out how to release W smoothly so my jump traverls further.

roblagger, if ur player goes straight the problem can be cause by that steam has changed ur cfg setting to cl_forwardspeed 900
try change back to cl_forwardsspeed 320 and ur prestrafe shall not go straight
why would u press a+d at the same time?accidently? isnt it w+d, release w and then d+mouse right release it and a+left and so on?
btw my cl_forwardspeed/backspeed is 400 , is it fine or do i need 320 for perfect prestrafing?

just set default... and never change it
and the thread is nonsense because it's the 10101 thread about longjumps... i cant longjump very good either but i watch the guide and practise and dont open such a annoying thread

well, it wud be same if u ask if 60fps or 100fps is better for strafing if u dont know if it helps,so better ask :|
simply ask in the irc... thats the best way
if u have a new question or an important one then ask...
but for such things u can use the search or what ever
everyone understands that he push the buttons accidently and if not then ask him personalyy and if 400 or 320 u can ask in the chatbox-.-
u dont have to check threads which r "nonsense" for u,for other it might not be nonsense. maybe its the 100001st thread,but better one too much then one too less ;)
