Hello. Let me tell you briefly about kz-endo.

We are a new (Summer 2013) community originating in the United States focused on Kreedz maps.

We have only about a dozen members so far, but we are looking to expand to anyone who is active and can speak English on the microphone.

We have a server box which runs 4 servers as of right now, (BHOP, Climb, Speed Run & Slide).

We have 2 other servers, one which runs all maps (3500+) and a second speed run server.

The server box running the 4 servers uses the PhooGi Climb plugin and the other 2 use a version of ProKreez. The IP's are:

Climb server does not respond and I have 150+ ping on the rest, so no thank you.

The higher ping the bigger chance to get spike/dropdown lag which is very annoying.
@N3M0N, couldn't be the reason on why I drew an analogy between this and phoogy's server. Thank you!

wish there was at least one popular kz server always crowded like it used to be in the glory past.. good luck with your project seems to be a nice thing! will defo come and play from time to time

This is essentially a review, though the OP did ask for suggestions so maybe use my critique and concerns as a way forth, toward improvement.

I've now spent a little bit of time somewhat immersed in the kz-endo community, maybe immersed is the wrong word, enough time rather to at least give both my own personal views and thoughts on the establishment of a new kz 'community'

Upon arrival into the servers I was fairly pleased that I wasn't the only one playing, I do enjoy public kreedz, it's nice to keep what is essentially an individual game, to some extent, social. I ran into a few familiar faces which was nice, low ping due to currently living in North America, so almost right away I thought I had found what could become the new PhooGi type hang-out. Wrong; I found out very quickly how false my initial assumption had been.

I have absolutely no issue nor problem with the servers themselves, and as I just mentioned above, am quite pleased with the technical side of things (map selections and what not) the issue stems from the notion of 'community' and what kz-endo are attempting to create, or dare I say it, re-create. The first time I played in kz-endo's servers I found myself alongside leggie, ol' mate leggie, a player in which I have a personal relationship with, stemmed and further solidified through the PhooGi servers which automatically had me excited at the prospect of playing public together once again. After what was quite an enjoyable session of new players attempting synergy_x, complaining about its difficulty whilst I performed the double-countjump technique at the start of the map on the floor for stats, I left the server, content and overall pleased with my experience. The next day after class I rejoined the server and found myself playing with the owners and members of the kz-endo empire.

Right away I heard a few of the members discussing leggie's ban from the server, and being that I'm quite vocal and sometimes a little bit outspoken, I piped up and asked what the fuck they were thinking. They began slandering leggie, alongside other known and accomplished players. I don't like this. I hate this actually. I find it beyond disrespectful for a group of player who no doubt installed the game last night, to be arguing and have any sort of opinion of those within the community whom have not only paid their dues, but have given an immense amount of time and in leggie's case, money, to the wider, more global, kz community. I'm not sure any of the kz-endo members are fit enough to even mention leggie's name, let alone talk down and form false opinions about players they've probably heard about from PhooGi|t1D/-\|__*^^\/\/@v3--

The attitudes of kz-endo players seems somewhat similar to those once held by the heavyweights in PhooGi, they seem to think they are just as important. It's like they've heard an out of context conversation from a player like JAy and all of a sudden think they understand. Openly talking down to pizza^ while he's in the server, yet giving him admin because he is ex-PhooGi is beyond baffling and completely reiterates my point in that the kz-endo 'community' are beyond clueless, new to the game and I'd advise anyone who has played the game longer than 2 days to completely disable microphone/voice chat when attempting to play in any of their servers. I also don't think hoLy, a current leader of insilio, at any point needs to stand up or prove himself to anyone within any community, especially not one that started yesterday. And just to clear up a few questions I've been asked the past couple of days, no, I will not be leaving insilio to gain admin rights in the kz-endo servers.

Allow me to address and bullet point a few of the items which Mr. “lagster” has mentioned.

I would like to start out by saying, this entire essay posted sounds completely out of character from what I have experienced in the server. In the server, the impression which this person left could be described as annoying and immature.

The first day I spoke with lagster, he initiated the conversation. He started by asking if he could have admin. No hello, no introduction, not even an attempt to join our group. Simply a request for admin. Then he began to talk about how he is always looking for molly (ecstasy) and has no friends at college in New York and that it was, as he put it, “pathetic”.

From this point onward, he became, in my eyes, a nuisance to the people playing in the servers. He would ask if other people could join kz-endo for them, even if they had no interest. And he would do this repeatedly, non stop. Of course there were countless other small things he did besides this example, however the point is, the person who wrote the essay above is far different from the person who lagster projected himself to be while in the servers.

Now to address some specifics:

The banning of leggie – leggie was banned for a reason which will not be stated here. He knows what he did wrong and that will be kept private. Regardless, this matter should not be of your concern.

The “slandering of other accomplished players” - since names were not named, and examples not given, you can understand that there is no validity to this statement. Sometimes we joke when we're playing. IF something was said about a player who has maintained a history with world records, you can expect that their integrity will not be questioned, unless of course it was in a playful, joking manner.

A “group of players who just installed the game last night” - most of us have been playing CS for a very long time, and Kreedz as well for a respectable period of time. Where you got the impression we are all new players to the scene is beyond me. This statement is an outright fabrication.

Comparing us to PhooGi – PhooGi was a group of talent-based players who had a reputation for greatness through the recording of world record demos and numerous other contributions. To make any comparison here is absurd. We do not compare ourselves to PhooGi.

Talking down to pizza^ yet giving him admin – pizza^ was never talked down to. He was joked with. Plain and simple. It is not our fault you cannot differentiate between playful joking and seriousness. pizza^ has admin in the server because of an agreement made when we inherited the patented PhooGi climb plugin, that any ex-member of PhooGi who wanted administrative powers in the kz-endo network, would be granted it.

holy of insilio “putting up” with us – holy did not endure any disrespect while in the server, joking or not. In fact, he added me on Steam personally when he was finished playing in the server and mentioned that he liked the server.

Again, anyone reading lagster's highly biased and misconstrued rant, I urge you to please take everything with a grain of salt. It will take more than an essay littered with false allegations to bring us down.

fantasm/goretex (good thing my man changed his name cuz what kinda name is goretex) got his critique on point doe cuz gotdamn theres a reason for everythin and we arent comparin ourselves to phoogi, just a lil light when ya need it and srs when ya need it. will openly talk about someone and say the same thing when theyre in the server cause ya gotta be real ya feel
