- remove the music
- get some voice actor or yourself to do the talk
- people don't want to read your video they read books and watch videos..
thats the great thing about a video some interesting guy that easily gets you through problems

remove the music or turn down the volume and then speak to the user instead of a wall of text which most users ignore.
How to download or install a program is a bit useless and can be removed.
Do a small mockup before producing a movie. (Write down what you want in the movie or to be shown) Then produce it. If you can't speak live while doing the stuff. Rerecord your voice and add the voicestream later on.
To keep the user attractive to the movie just keep it interested with the theme you wanted to show.
Theme was How to setup Hammer. But the first 2minutes i need to watch how to download, install and deleted installation files. If i wouldnt be that interested in mapping i would have already closed the video.

- Make the video size 1280x720 for a better quality...

first of all no i would not record my voice there are people who dont understand english or maybe will not understand even my accent.
Second dEMolite i've seen people give up by just failing to install VHE or Batch Compiler.
and i wrote exactly what you need to do which files you gotta download etc so please its ok if you dislike it :P.

Thanks , just one thing , it's not "zMAZGH" it's zMIGH it changed after the new design and options of the website

btw i changed my mind i will remake that video and remove music and record my voice instead not because its better but because it takes less time to make the video instead of adding captions/text notes.

Thanks , and idont even know why its moved here , maybe cus its video tutorial but its about mapping , anyways . next tutorial about hammer editor basics , tips coming soon.

halo KarLi, can u help me with something?
actually my friend is making a map.but he got a problem.
he wants to make a big block that goes down after u land it. but not as soon as u land it, it goes down when u reach some certain position of the big block.an so he tried something called "Delay before fire" but didnt work well. do u know how to do it?
he can use func_door and a trigger somewhere at the block he wants to reach before the other fall down

u can make a block before the big landing block and make it trigger_multiple
and put the name of the big block that will go down on TARGET of the trigger_multiple and toggle the big block from options
u can try also ivansky method
try it and tell me .
