Yeah, I do not have access to the "private stuff" at XJ, but if I remember you, Moxx, with something, that would be that you were constantly saying how when Kreedz left the KZ scene, you were the "chosen one". Guess what? That was like 12 years ago? Yeah, you have been part of the kzmaps team, which at some point was quite the most important part, but get real and see how things have changed.
Maybe if you were good enough, kzmaps wouldn't have died? Maybe XJ wouldn't succeed and be alive nowadays? Doesn't this prove that you actually are no good to judge a CEO's job? :-)

Good for you, you have seen that the community is striving towards being inactive, CEO is not at all interested, given from your words. Then what do we do next? What would you suggest?
I wanted to close cosy several months ago, because all the talk against it - how it sucked, how it was full of cheaters, how it was retarded. Even XJ have said we (cosy-climbing) are responsible for hacking them. This was too much and I decided it might the best to just let it go. I have never said it's a school-project or anything like that, get your shit straight and then talk, thx.

Sure, CyclopP is not the best CEO of XJ, but you must be nuts to say he's not trying and you must be stupid not to take in account that the people willing to sacrifice their free time for the community are less by each day.
Either come up with a clever solution XJ and the community shall do towards the CEO post or just shut up, because such comments won't do any good to the community, but to amplify the hate going around here. Sadly the latter is too much nowadays.

They compared soccer with offside and soccer without offside (2 games with different objectives) to playing cups with and without camping (one normal objective and one contradictory objective). Not saying you did, but you still cant fully disagree with what he is saying either if we remove his most radical views (read: insults). Your country will infact be a complete multicultural disaster in just a matter of years and sadly the upcoming generation of swedes will be the ones who pay the price and they will despise your politicans for not doing anything just like the thread starter despises cyclopp. This kind of immigration policy is nowhere near sustainable and will throw you back 1000 years as a civilized nordic society, you should know something is wrong when someone even throws out the idea of banning their own flag because it could be considered racism. way3spooky

Between trolls and personal grudges, how is that even a discussion thread?
I'll explain to you why XJ could not grow bigger and why it will never grow any further:
While other gaming communities (I'm talking about the biggest ones) succeeded at building a real and sustainable business model (yep I'm talking about real money, not pokedollars), XJ never really had any ambition. Don't get me wrong, most of the gaming communities died after a few years, sometimes after a few month, only the biggest ones survived.
XJ's problem is that it has always been seen as a 'hobby' project and not a business project, meaning no one was full-time dedicated to it nor was motivated by something real: a wage and the will to run a business.
You can be as motivated as you want, unless the community is super friendly and perfect member-wise, your motivation will decrease over months or years, as other events will come up in your life and your priorities will change.
I totally understand CycloPp for being lazy, he's got a job and other things to take care of, to think of. I'm pretty sure his eventual power hunger that was there when he took care of the community also disapeared over time.
Who would like to dedicate 15-20 hours per week to XJ anyway? Now that it is full of retards and trolls, who are also sadly the ones who kind of keep the website alive.
He's in a position where he's stuck with that fucking website to take care of even if he's tired of it, but he sees no one able to replace him as a CEO, and he's right because no one right here and right now has the shoulders to take care of XJ. He loved this game, he loved XJ and he's attached to it out of respect, not out of will.
tl:dr; no matter who the CEO is, CycloPp, faker or my grandmother, XJ will never grow since there is no business model, thus no one FULL-TIME DEDICATED to it and motivated by something real.
Ah and for those who think XJ is making money and CycloPp benefiting from it:
having held all the possible admin positions for several years and having been rather close to OddYsseus and faker, I can confirm that the VERY LITTLE money earned thanks to ads and VIPs was used to cover costs of the website and from time to time to organize tournaments with prizes.
(+ first version of XJ design http://rykogod.deviantart.com/art/XJ-Community-Portal-Design-156686062 , which costed a few hundred euros)
