Hello good people.

I've been plundering allot about the "godlike" setup for going pro and beyond in KZ.

What IS the ultimate NO EXCUSE setup for going pro on kreedz, I think there needs to be a guide on this so players who are beginning can start from a place where they dont have to be as frustrated to not understand what is going on.

#1 Monitors, resolution, windowed mode/fullscreen, 120hz other?
#2 Graphic card, why and what? other?
#3 Mouse, dpi, sens, inputlag, R-input, windows sens? other? (g500, dpi 2000, ingame sens 0.7 fx)
#4 Keyboard?
#5 Any other?

k thnx bai :)

It doesn't work like that. That's like buying a ferrari and instantly becoming a pro driver.
An average gaming equipment is enough, without geeking you won't get far regardless of your setup.Having lots of patience and strong nerves is the key to success.

I have 144hz asus monitor 1ms respons
gtx 770
steelseries rival deafult settings
keyboard razer arctosa
and about 3000+ hours on ur cs 1.6 gameplay with kz

The only thing that can make a little difference in your gameplay is the mouse. Everything else doesn't matter

#1 first of all you need a monitor, thats about it
#2 You need a gpu to run the computer decent so its a MUST HAVE
#3 Unless you are the best trackball player in the world you should use a mouse! Anything over the 25dollar price will do!
#4 Since you need to press keys this is useful for a pro kz setup
#5 Just use whatever junk you have right now cuz having a pro elite keyboard wont help you for shits

10000 hours of practise makes you master anything, instantly after the mark has been passed!

any setup, accessories and settings you feel comfortable with can be used.

have fun!

1. practice alot means play alot.. and random maps.. and kz_lonjgjump for jumping good.
2. play with friends and spec the metc ask for tips etc
3. there are already some tutorials for stat jumps on xj but thats not enuff u need to practice ...
i start kz at 2008-2009 and i am noobz0r ;D i cant jump more than 250 LJ anymore lol, but i can run and have fun do combos etc.. just keep playing and use whatever accessories fit u better for playing, settings is also ur own decision

I feel like this guy is from csgo, it doesn't work that way here, you have to play a lot and I mean really a lot, i have about 1.5k hours of steam cs and 2-3k in non steam and still not that good, :)

JocA Banned18/03/2016 10:37

haha agree with krater

also, first iceland player here (?)...

Just like danger said the mouse would do difference(and maybe a mousepad or monitor over 75 hz).

About the mouses i have logitech g400s and i like it a lot,but if you dont wanna give a lot of money for mouse there is one cheap and legendary mouse(very good one) its x7 750bk

In my country the prices are:
Logitech g400s: 50 euro (100 BGN)
A4tech x7 750BK: 17.50 euro (35 BGN)

beingproatkz.exe works fine for me.

Overall you can't buy your skills dude you have to practice a lot

Thanks for the responses, mean I already have over 2000hours at playing kz.. 255lj stats. (253block) its my ego yes.
Im just asking because im not really a gear geek. (and maybe there are some newcomers seeking answers)
So it really it boils down to just the mouse, with 75hz+ monitor and time.. Great ;)

Also One more thing, what are the most essential keybindins? like the multi "e" bind for multi pressing the start button.

good to see more icelanders here HEO!

Thanks all

iNsprate moviemaker25/03/2016 13:32

The multi "e" bind is forbidden for recording. Afaik the legit way would be to bind it on mouse wheel, but you are not allowed to change binds during the run.

Speaking from personal experience there are quite a few things that boosted my skill and those are mouse, 100+hz monitor, keyboard to some part - a cheap 5 bucks keyboard may be good enough for successful gaming but there really are exceptions even with more expensive keyboards. Also a proper height ratio armchair/desk and the game being run smoothly are also important. You should as well try to toy with various game settings to find your own best such as windowed/fullscreen game mode, maybe resolution, mouse accel (I've played with accel off for all I remember myself but I found I feel more comfortable with accel on just a year or so back), and just whatever your mind can think of - a placebo is also a factor.

Nikša Jovanovic30/03/2016 02:16

Believe me. I've played much better before I bought "good" mouse, good monitor etc. If you get into game, if you learn how to feel the game, you ll become pro trust me.

Thanks for the answers! good tips! and more.

In my opinion things that make the biggest difference is 100hz monitor, stable 100fps and a good mouse with mousepad. And... of course hours of geeking ;-)

Keyboard doesn't matter. I think everyone can agree with that.

Agreed! As long as the keyboard is comfortable and have good respond it's fine.

However imo different keyboards can be good for different things, for example when I got my red switch keyboard I could do like 2 strafes more compared to my old rubberdome.
