A suggestion
01/06/2007 16:04We all know that there are some very good AXN bhoppers out there, but are there many good AXN climbers?
Basically, what I'm suggesting to any mapper, is to make a climbing map suited to AXN. I think it's fun to climb normal maps (like volcano) with AXN, but sometimes it's tricky to climb with the blocks being close to each other. So I'm suggesting to anyone to make a canyon/cliff type of map with blocks far enough apart for some really nice AXN speed climbing.
Is it a reality? What do you think :D

01/06/2007 18:12What about maps made for playing with that HL jump package, where you jump very far, by simple pushing duck before you push jump? Can't remember what it's called, but they are in the secret room of surf_maya_easy

It's kind of a giant duckboost. :P And you can use it on single-jumps.
yes i know what it is, but i never saw it in cs :) only in HL :P
I wanna see more AXN recs, so i think it's a good idea!

why is it lame? U have to be skilled for it too and its just an addon for those who like it. You dont have to play these maps so .. :X
I think it would be fun like soul said to jump some "non-bhop" maps with axn where just are parts in it where you need to use the axn boost.

i actually made a whole climbing map like this (where u have to use the duckboost)
in my opinion its very fun to play and actually something new.
the bhopping room in it is challenging and fun too. i tried to hand it in but didnt get accepted tho.
if any of u wanna try my duckboost map, post here..
i might upload the hard version of it (so u can see that its challenging)

^ thats the one i liike more (more fun to play)
i espeically like the bhopping more than climbing(of bhopping is at the end of both versions). this lj thing takes like 2 days to get used to (so you might wanna try ez version first to get the feel)
both maps include demos to show shortcuts and that u can get cool runs on these maps :D
this is basically the same concept, the more skill you have the better time ull get. just the jumping is a bit different and something new.
keep in mind : this map is was built to test the jumps so i didnt care about the looks (not like i ever care about them, its always about the jumps for me :D)

agree totoally with soul:D axn on kz maps is fun:D
maybe ill try that map r0fl, n1 4 uploading tho:D
