Um, the part about DPI is simply wrong. The switch between 2000 and 800 should be very noticeable, like you would need 2,5 times lower sensitivity to move at same speed ingame. If you have done that and you still think its the same, well, you're wrong again :P. While this might not matter too much in kz, but if you were to play something that requires precision you would really notice because on 800 and high sens you'd be skipping lots of dots compared to 2000 and low sens.

DPI should be noticeable when changed from 2000 to 800, DPI - Dots per inch (on your screen that is). More DPI - Faster mouse.
Gonna see if i can config my mouse later ;)

when you use high dpi and low sens the mouse skips alot, you cannot notice it unless you alt tab so that you get a mouse pointer where your crosshair is and then move your mouse really fast in cs and you can see how the pointer strays really far away from the xhair
