The story about your nickname.
My dog's name is Trolis, so I'm Trolis too.
I use this nickname about 6years, or somth
My nickname was based on the fact that a friend of mine (hoLy <3) talked to me about a kind of music called minimal. Then he used the nick mnml. which gave me the mxml. nick, we were playing as binome uC. And mxml meant maximal, then i was bored of these 4 letters, i put a z in the end of maximalz and take it again.
My first nickname was kyuusei, which means sepultura or smth like this in japanese. I took it from a song from the J rock band MUCC. Then came kyuuseiART, the name of my artistic productions, both digital art and moviemaking, which is today my youtube channel.
I'm thinking about changing my nick again.
Well my nick is pretty random. At first it was OpA'pA :D It came in same time when my friend rodney suggested me playing kreedz. (Back then I thought it's some dumb cs mod) :D
Anyway i guess you understand what means "opa!", in Lithuanian it's like "hop!" :) It's like when you make some hard jump after long hours of jumping and say "hop!" or "bingo!" xD
lol uber old topic bumped
akm = initials

doggystyle
huh all of you have pretty nice stories about your nick names... i play CS with different nick names like:
One Man Army - for massacre classic style CS
HOTDOG4IINICATA NA JOHNY BRAVO - for respawn type servers
Million Stabs - when i play serious
i can tell ya where those nick names came from. not much as a story but the threat is asking for it...
One Man Army - inspired from the SABATON war metal songs. the lyrics of their songs are about the sacrifice of man for the price of victory in any battle.
HOTDOG4IINICATA NA JOHNY BRAVO - well i do not have actually a story for that nick. once when i played 5v5 with shNz we were making fun with idiotic nick names and he typed that one. i liked it and i started to use it.
Million Stabs - that one came from Devil May Cry game. there is one move called "Million Stab" but i putted "s" at the end so it is not exactly "copy" / "paste". almost ....
but my real nick isn't one from any of those. my real nick is Darkone . It's from World of Warcraft game. My first character is with that name. c(: that's all bout my nick names
I lol'd at "HOTDOG4IINICATA NA JOHNY BRAVO" :DDD
Tony Lofton --> TlofT =D
when i play normal cs (scrims and such) i play under all different names, things i just think of at the time. i used to be good so i don't want people calling me wash up LOL
when i started i used 'Andy', cause its my name :S
then i got bored with it so thought of a random word and i chose Hazard.
when i play day of defeat i play with the name;
"Esoteric" - it means, mysterious, or hard to understand - something incomprehensible to most.
"My mum calls me Thunder" - i think its just a funny name, also Ted says it on the show scrubs
or "Vassili Zaitzev" - he was a russian marksman famous for the battle of Stalingrad in ww2

it must be with double "i" - Vasilii Zaitzev
russian and bulgarian languages are familiar and there is a letter that do not exist in english so it is double "i" instead of 1 "i" and the non existing in english language letter ;DAD_BOX!
I think it went like this:
1. Aavari
2. FliP
3. FliPPi (Not that other Finnish jumper with the same nick..)
4. FliP (again)
5. Flibo
And yeah, FliP came from that skateboard company.
Well, actually first it was "Aave" (=ghost in Finnish) which I for some reason came up with when I tried to register on a Finnish gaming forum a long time ago. From that it evolved to "Aavari" (=something similar to "ghoster", yeah doesn't make sense).
Then I started skating a bit, and came to know about a skating company called Flip. I thought it was quite cool and stole my nick from that, that's how "FliP" was formed. It evolved to "FliPPi" when I wanted to make a multiaccount on a browser game called Dark Throne (damn was it awesome). That's a weird thing because later I found about an other kreedzer from Finland called "FliPPi" (YES, even the capital letters were the same) although by then my nick was already "Flibo". The nick "Flibo" was invented when I was on an irc channel related to click'n'create software and I talked to a guy nicked Pico (who has a very sick creativity ^^) and thought the "o" ending was quite nice. Then in my mind I went through some options and ended up with Flibo. Now when I think of it, "FliP" or "FliPPi" are better nicks than "Flibo" which looks pretty gay :P
EDIT: Oh, I totally forgot about the ones older than "Aave". I can't remember which happened first though, but I was using "name_10" when I was playing Runescape long time ago. Then I was using "name2" first in the gaming forum I was talking about, "Aave" came later.
FliP + FliPPi < Flibo imo. :|
