What's essentially better in Windows 7 than in Vista other than minor visual upgrades? Improved UAC is the only worthwhile improvement i know.

Enhanced functionality on desktop level for one.
Then theres alot of minor stuff, too much to make a list of it. Hope most of the bugs i've experienced is gone in the final release though.

I'm using windows 7(RTM) for now 2 weeks and i've 0 bug!
And its faster than XP(and vista for sure) imo .

well i will wait for official Release of Windows 7 (in Shops ofc) :D, but for now i use Vista :D

RTM (release to manufacturing) is available now if you want , 30days before activation and its like you said "The official release of w7 in shop" ^^

The difference between XP and Vista was actually fairly big with some big under-the-hood improvements. Ironically many people who then hated Vista are now praising Windows 7.

TinTin what do you specifically mean enhanced functionality on desktop level?

-Possible to pin programs to the taskbar
-Drag(/drop) windows to maximize/minimize
(Have you tried shaking the windows? :P)
-Doubleclick on the very top/bottom of a window to maximize the height.

Well thats some of it. Maybe useless "tricks" on a single monitor, but when you've got multiple screens this is a godsent.
