thats a nice idea to go for a new longjump map ! in my opinion the snow style is ok because the next winter is comming :D

But why then again a LJ mapcontest? Only one contest is enough on this category
still a stupid idea to create a new lj map. what if it gets kz_tagged and official? what happens to the old kz_longjumps? what happens to demos? on which map will they be accepted?
just look for another mapping theme, best idea imo

@flyside simply replace it like suckys desertblock maps. Demos will from now on only be acceptet on the new map. There might be some problems with watching older dems, but thats all.
But a contest would be fair to all. If there is a new longjump map needed, there has to be somebody to do it. And if there are more than one person, why not starting a little competition?

Do we really need a new map? The only real problem is that there are no 260+ jumps, but how many can jump that far anyway? Only Bibo has done it so far, though im sure there will be others.
Maybe another map could be appointed only for 260+ jumps, or you could be allowed to do it on any map with 260+ blocks.
I know that many people dislike kz_longjumps for various reasons, but wouldn't it be kinda unfair to remove demos that people have worked hard for, just because some dudes are unhappy?

Also calling someone a retard for making a longjump map is stupid, how many mappers has made a longjump map? we have fx // longjump palace, rad0n longjumps, nfs_longjumps/ez, cg_longjumps/ez, drewbie longjumps, kzno_longjumps, kzfr_longjumps, clintmo longjumper, longjumpwarehouse/H, dr0 longjumps?, and kz longjumps. // also I remeber a highjump map and a higher position longjump map. I don't remember that any of this mappers got flamed :/

maybe just add more blocks to kz_longjumps? I like kz_ljs theme. 260+ hj & lj for crazy cjers. And remove that lightning in lj rooms but not making very dark. That would be perfect imo.

That's not such a big problem imo :D But the bhop lj's at kz_longjumps sucks... way too little space. And it would be fun with 210-260 HJ (242+ for CJ use).

26/08/2007 18:59i don't know what u think but i think that another a 2nd lj map is great because when u train longjumps u get headegg but when u change the map to another theme it would be better flame your shit at another place please this is just a map preview and i want ideas and stuff that i can include or make better and rikon nice statement but idiots are ppl who write iditot and bad map and stuff like that without saying why it's bad... say what i can make better...
and it's just a idea that this map will get official i don't think that it will get kz_ tag but i think a new lj map wich includes a longjump course + lj,cj,bhoplj,ducklj ofc with timer! it's just a trainings area for the course...
i think i said enought and i hope u understand why i'm doing this better...
damp there are already enough lj maps out there, kzfr_longjump, kzno_longjumps and kz_longjumps are the best imo, but there are alot other lj maps with different themes in the most of the maps (most risk_ maps have lj room, most kz_ and custom maps have a lj room, so i don't really think that we need another lj map :/
