Logitech MX510/518 + 245+ LJ
Who here owns either mouse and can jump 245+? Just curious to find out! Don't hate/flame please!
me, 250 fw and 249 bw
I can't hit any higher than 245 and I use 500Hz (mouse frequency mod) and 4.00 sensitivity and I've been jumping for 3+ years. I've tried countless tweaks to my lj and practiced what seems like forever. Any ideas? Am I just not cut out to be a quality jumper?

well i have 2 computers and at the one computer (razer daimondback) i can do the 250block "often". But at the other computer (with mx510) i cant even do the block.

i think u could make the same thread with razer mouses, g5 and so on, so it's very sensless, imo the mouse is just a small part of lj'ing....

well i have a very bad prestrafe and good strafes .. my advise is train your strafes start from 2 untill you can do 240-245 than with 3-4 until like 247-250

09/09/2007 21:20Well, it seems like your strafes has very different size. I get the best lj by making a big first strafe, a little bit smaller second strafe, a little bit smaller third, and so on. And I think you would get a better lj by making them more straight.
I'm cornfused. By more straight you mean...smaller, less mouse movement?

i think you should make fast and big 1 strafe and the other fast too but should have a great sinchron .. you will see that if you push D and move the mouse left you are just slowing down .. so ..train :)
Your strafes are kinda irregular, try to make them more even.
I did 248 with mx510.
i made 249 with a 14$ mouse so ?
well im with 2 $ mouse and i can do 250 almost everytime .. i think the mouse dont matter if you feel comfortable with it lol /// ontopic ... well i think you should realy work on your strafes just play a lot on bhop and climb for a week than try to lj again

did my first 252 units with 518 or so
now im using g5 and did it again
To Improve you need to practice, try make your strafes:
More smooth & togheter with a faster flow. Also I would suggest making your strafes wider and more symmetrical.
Btw I did 252 with a K81-00001 which is pretty much junk.
the mousehertz helped ALOT for me and i have an mx518@1600dpi i made 250 2 times within like 3-4 jumps =D
done 250 with a 7 $ mouse :D
