08/10/2007 12:11agree. NOA played very nice through the event, but at the final... they sucked UBER MUCH. they could easily take emulate i think. its just like last event where NOA was vs pentagram in the final.. annoying :/

emuLate aren't the world champions, that was just one of the biggest LAN of the world, but it doesn't mean they are the best anyway. I'm not sure they could beat fnatic or mibr for example.

fnatic isn't the best team in the world.. they're totally useless @ d2. that's a big reason why they sucked @ the event. mibr sux now, too.. cuz the generation X players is in the team now which aren't that good.

imo the best teams in the world is: fnatic @ many maps, not d2 tho. attax with their tactics. PGS & NoA. that's the top4. :)
overall the event was fucking shit.. why forbid russianhop when there will be arguing about it.. it's a pitty that the asians judges are dumb noobs.. The american judges sucked, too. MYM should have been in the quarterfinals.. 2-0 vs the noobs estro. but they ofc accused mym for "russianhop" which wasn't rly a russianhop.. so WCG sux! Really! The admins were very non-experienced.

well if you prefer: duck-duck. doubleducking (ctrl and +duck @ mouse) or only ctrl which is a technique that makes u run silent and faster than regular running. maybe not 100% silent but it bugs the sound so u get confused if someone uses the technique.

NoA played good thru the tournament, but emulate played better and won vs NoA on 3 maps. so they won fair and square ^^
And I dont really like this torunamnet, when theres only 1 team from each country, i hate fnatic :/

It's very strange because fnatic have 2 important matches on de_dust2 ( with MiBR and e-STRO) where they sux.
I think WCG 2007 it's one of ugly LAN i ever seen.
NoA is one of my favourite teams (zonic & hpx), maybe next time :) mSx was simply BRUTAL, esp in their first match (D2 - he shoot 29 frag @ T side :o) For me penta and fnatic is still a big surprise, bfore that lan i thought NOBODY could stop them :D

WCG has gone down hill. USA practically has no say in the event now. All the USA teams that were once good have switched over too Source and left 1.6 to shitty CALinvite teams that only make it because there is no one better. I follow these teams everyday and I know for a fact that USA has shit CS 1.6 teams now. Even MugNmouse has lost all their skill and are only in invite because of wins against shit premier teams. Europe has taken over 1.6 if you ask me. EmuLate NoA and other teams like SK are 1.6 now.
