How to advance the topspeed
How to advance the topspeed ? :confused:
With multistrafes in the air 8)
I have 8 strafes and the topspeed is about 320-_-!!!
u can do thousands of crappy strafes and get <300 maxspeed.
do controlled strafes and u will get it...
your first strafe from the prestrafe is important..
Do it big and in control, big nice turn and then smaller and faster strafes..

First strafe should be bigger :)

Why don´t you watch lj-demos to study how to do???
Personally, i can do 273-276 prestrafe on Lj's consistantly, 276-283 prestrafe on Cj's consistantly now.. but yet i haven't broken 248 Lj, or 251 Cj with 5-6 80+ Sync'd strafes... >.< my topspeed never reaches 320+ :/
guess i'll just keep practicing :P

He means that you shouldn't care too much about the speed numbers. The most important is that you jump long not that your speed is high.

dunno u can understand this.. airspeed goes up when u moving mouse and pressing A or D, so dont rest anytime

Can someone upload a demo with /speed plugin 250~ LJ to see how to advance the topspeed ? :confused:
Bibo's LJ(255) is hight efficient, a "straight line".
Even if you have 280 prestrafe & 350 topspeed , and you jump a circle, maybe that's only 0 units.
get a nice demo and play it with 1/4 speed then do this with a demo of your strafes. then complain
