"don't meet trouble halfway" was an expression I found in the dictionary like "Speak of the devil and the devil shows up". I couldn't find a danish version.

I don't think that everyone goes crazy about it and.. hm would it really be that bad? It's the only thing they can easily measure themself with since there are some unreached climbing pros :) For exemple: Some weeks ago I would have said "who the fuck is otchetto" or however he is spelled, now I say its the guy that made the 255.

Climbing is much more challenging way to get known/on the page :P

KZ will never die cause it'll be in our hearts forever ;d I think KZ will still be alive the next 5 years.

i think kz reached it limit. there are no jumpers that can do better then now. This is like the frag movies -> Jaegarn X the revenge reached the maximum level of a cstrike movie , there won`t be better ones so i think the same will happen to kz ... it will be non interesting to people after 2-3-4 years maybe when everything that can be done will be done by many people

we should all do that!

i'd say; as long as CS is alive, KZ will be alive.
probably not more than 10 years or so. maybe even less.

I can promise you that the highest level havent and never will be reached, saying otherwise is just plain wrong. And that saying everything will have been done within 2-4 years? wtf? There are new maps released all the time and new jumpers with new ideas are "born" (you know what i mean xD) every day.

Since i started playing roughly 2.5 years ago KZ has evolved very much, new techniques, new communities and new jaw-dropping records has been found, created and made. There are over 500 official maps atm, and just as many unofficial so i guarantee you that people wont run out of interest.

Steam has already tried to kill 1.6 but without success. All different CS styles must die before the game does. There are also so many things around 1.6 which will keep it alive.
Sure new games have alot better graphics but they usually fail when it comes to simplicity. And many people can't afford a computer which support such advanced graphics.
In my opinion, it will take many many years before 1.6 dies. It will take many years for kz to die too but I think we will see less players in the kz scene in a couple of years.

I think the creators of Counter-Strike will think for us (kreedz players) and if there is a new Counter-Strike version they'll make new generation for kz.New players new longjump technique new maps better graphics etc. sry for my bad english :>

I think someone should make a kz game, like kzmod. That would pwn!

Now there are like fighting games, driving games, shooting games etc. There should also be jumping games!
