@tw123, I'm too lazy to watch the demo but I think that you're doing 1 key pre and thats why u don't gain any speed at 1st strafe, try to prestrafe with A+W / W+D keys

there is days i can jump better almost every jump over 245, but i cant hit 249 or 250 i dont know why.
that demo is how i usually jump.
can some good ljer answer me ?

practice and move faster, with 1st strafe the biggest and the last the smallest. I didnt see your demo and never jumped 250 stats.
But stats doesnt matter, you need to do BLOCK. I say that everytime when i miss 248 block with 248-9.

I skipping 240-245 from 4 strafe and if you want to make 5 strafe are 230+

1 gained speed from the strafe
2 antispeed
3 %of the "air time" of the jump
4 gained speed in air (from all strafes)

1st and 2nd = huge
3rd and 4th = medium
5th and 6th = small

try to do the 4 firsts strafes more fast, than you will have more time to do the 5th strafe.

okey.. i have one stupid question..
hmm i am doing 6 strafes but when i touch the ground im am pushing the A button , is that wrong ..?
i make 250-252 units all the time cant make more :(

"traintj20" is the one I'm talking about. Should I start to make faster strafes, or bigger strafes? The other demos are like demonstrations of what I _could_ do with big strafes.
