Longjump: Questions and answers
i have a doubt
do i have to continue strafing while i'm ducking?
i will loose speed if i continue strafing or is the same?
Hey, my ljrecord (stats) are 252.89x, without any of these things:
-noforcemaccel
-noforcemspd
-noforcempars
Would I get more length if I turned those things? And another question, where do I have to go to switch those things?!

i have maxpseed 320+,and i jump 240~ with it just
i jumped 252.8 yesterday with 337 maxspeed,270 pre amd 87 sync (6 strafes)
i jumped earlyer with 320 speed 245+ even 250:|
and now...
some tips?

what tips.. you're improving yourself, the best LJ that some1 can do is with doing something like 276~ pre making really fast 1st strafe and after it something like 9 or more strafes and he could sync them very well (to get about 340+ maxspeed), every1 has a different style(some ppl jump with 6 strafes other with 8 ; circle/normal - doesnt matter), but IMO thats the best.. and I know that it is :)

what tips.. you're improving yourself, the best LJ that some1 can do is with doing something like 276~ pre making really fast 1st strafe and after it something like 9 or more strafes and he could sync them very well (to get about 340+ maxspeed), every1 has a different style(some ppl jump with 6 strafes other with 8 ; circle/normal - doesnt matter), but IMO thats the best.. and I know that it is :)

but i saw some jumpers that surpassed me in the lj10 with 1-2 units~
i had 252.7 338 maxspeed,273 pre and 87 sync(6 strafes-normal)
and he has done 254.2,maxspeed 327,pre 272 sync 60?
or it was just a bug?:)

I can tell u that its luck (1-2 units) , and don't watch stats.. some ppl can jump 254 LJ (example) with 320 maxspeed, other with 340+ maxspeed, only your pre should be good, at strafes it is a matter of reflex and style of the player and btw I don't watch sync cuz I have no idea what is the best sync ( I made script with 100% sync strafes, but when I edited it with more strafes which are the same it showed me 0% sync, but I had 260+ distance with both (100% / 0% sync) maybe a fkn bug)
Mine question: My prestrafe is very low (270-272), rarely 273-4. Mine maxspeed is 310-315 (rarely 320), I am jumping with 5-6 strafes, sync is low (70-75). How many units a must jump with this pre, maxspeed, sync and strafes? And my second question: How can I increase my prestrafe? (left pre ftw, my right pre sux)

u could jump 240-245 with that stats.. and u can increase your prestrafe by doing it "bigger" and with some practice with mouse movement :)
True, I jump 240-247 units with these stats. The training showes increasing of my pre, but only 0,6-0.7 :( I think it is, because I trained only 1-1,5 hours :D

it should be above 60 :S
This "(47.651)" is the speed, you gained while strafing in the air and you can improve it by making your strafes bigger. IMO, maxspeed doesn't matter that much or maybe at all. It's all about the jumper's technique..
Tell to me now such thing, I have jumped lj pre 274, maxspeed 325, 5 strafs, distange 244.86:) and in what here a problem? Who will prompt? =)

strafes and your mousemovement (I had problem too, maybe every1 had it once :D)
how to make 15+ speed on first strafe?!
i gain 6-10 only,sometimes -1 -> -30 ... why?:/
