i need to help . how i can to off mouse acceleration ??
i use XL-750BH mouse but i dont see mouse control panel mouse acceleration :(

31/08/2011 16:33i would appreciate an advices about PREstrafe of DoubleCount jump with "theddy style" ye, i did 271 block with this style with random 299 pre but now, ive been geeking 272 for over a month and i did 298-299 pre for 2-3 times.. and i just cant figure out whats wrong.. i need detailed tutorial how to do it in a correct way..
If there is anyone who knows what could help, please share wih me
The only mouse commands you need are -noforcemspd and -noforcemaccel, if you want the game to recognize your desktop speed and desktop acceleration. Using -noforcemaccel with "enhance pointer precision" unchecked in your desktop mouse options disables acceleration.
Also please note that completely disabling acceleration in windows 7 is impossible without a special mouse fix.
This one is like the CPL fix only it works for Win7 (CPL fix only works for XP).

Careful with combining all of this stuff. It should be fine but sometimes if you use these and launch options and stuff with your drivers etc. you can end up with negative accel.

Blocks train you to pre only one way, and to also tolerate infinite fails. If you want to be good at different pres (aka for KZ), try manually setting up your pre every time you LJ on blocks and jump back and forth. Also, you may just have to decide if you want to go for those big blocks or if you want to be more well-rounded. If you want to be very good at LJ, it's hard to be very good at other things, and same with KZ maps, bhop, CJ, bhoplj, etc. They all require specific skills and in some cases different setups. Of course, the maps themselves make you the most well rounded jumper because they train a variety of skills at once.
I have the same problem - since I geek blocks almost exclusively my Ljs on KZ maps aren't nearly as good unless I can line it up exactly the same way. Also, another problem I have is I'm only really good at right pre because that's how I set up only - although lately even that has fallen apart.
KZ maps with bhop and bhop maps with KZ are the best for training the skills to be well-rounded. If all you do is geek KZ/bhop maps, you will end up being good at everything and can maybe even record, although probably not an LJ world record holder. If all you do is geek LJ blocks, then all you will be good at is LJ blocks and you may be able to get an LJ WR, but probably not a map WR.

i switched from 12€ ranfom mouse to mx518.
btw my bhops are better now .
any explanation for this other then that mx518 sucks balls for lj ?

I think u just need to get use to your new mouse shape/weight/sensivity... Give it a time and your skill will come bak for ya :)

Do more strafes. More strafes = smaller airtime. :)
i do 7-8 strafes. Its enough but still this shit problem :D

on my sidewinder i do (100aa now) 20airtime first strafe, and 8-10 the rest and i do 9-10str then. imposs to fix it.
And now im using another KB and its 12airtime each strafe both 10 and 100aa :P
Proppan what keyboard do you use ?.
