on lj blocks i can do 253block, i try to do 240 block hj and i fail to get more than 249 stats, so i cant do the jump :( my jof is enough to get 270 pre
also, can anyone teach me how to get atleast 285 cj pre?

I can do 4 straf 245+ but with good airtimes and sync
But when i goo for 6 strafs everthings suxx :(

LJ Distance: 255.722427 Maxspeed: 342.703186 (68.416) Prestrafe: 274.287109 Strafes: 7 Sync: 89

the second line shows how much gain you are losing,if you combine all the numbers together the total would be 4.762 which is considered high i think,and i really dont know what to do about it because i have the same problem.

but if you go to freestyler's video on 257 block, at 10 seconds he jumps 257 with a lot of lost speed..

Hello guys i have a small problem with keyboard I had a genius keyboard nothing special and i usually did like 8/7 strafes 255 stat sometimes and etc but now i got a new keyboard X7 G800V and i dont know what i doing wrong all strafes are wrong i cant do normally 6/7/8 strafes and evry stat is like max 250 if i did 6 clear strafe if anyone can help me to fix this will be glad thanks for attention

Lj is not that simply that you only rely on stats. Stats can show wrong and if you think you have good strafes but can jump max 255 try changing how wide or small you are making your strafes.

Lj is not that simply that you only rely on stats. Stats can show wrong and if you think you have good strafes but can jump max 255 try changing how wide or small you are making your strafes.


Wide strafes to a certain to a point is always gonna be better, if you can keep ur strafes smooth and fast. Anyway, lj is mostly just about learning the airtime technique, atleast in my opinion. It, can be a bit tricky to learn though.

yes, fewer strafes at start so that you can "feel" the syncing of your strafes. i suggest you to try some hard maps like qsk_azure where it requires not lj skills but 2-3 good strafes for almost all jumps; imo that's when you get to accommodate with your keyboard/strafes.

Hey!

Been trying to get better at ljing on and off for a few months now.

Thing is, the more i play the worse i get lol. i used to do 248-251 lj pretty consistent with 5 strafes and good sync 80-100%.

Now i barerly do 240-245 even tho ive put in more time into it than before, im doin 6-7 strafes now, sync is way worse but the % per strafe is more even with all the strafes than before with 5 strafes.

Feels like im stuck, any tips?

Play KZ maps, don't bother trying LJs too much, it always works for me, even now that I've lost my strafes, they're improving by simply playing and gaining confidence.

Play KZ maps, don't bother trying LJs too much, it always works for me, even now that I've lost my strafes, they're improving by simply playing and gaining confidence.
