oh yeah HarpooooN, great idea. u can make as much avi's as you want. simply download VirtualDub (this programm is fucking easy, in 5mins u know everything about it so dont worry^^) and import all the clips in there. after that u can make them to 1 (uncompressed) file.
but maybe u'll have another problem: if it's always stuck at 39% maybe means that theres a problem in your avi. so it doesnt really matter if you make more clips, it will always stuck on the same part. but thats just a posibillity. im not sure about it.
btw: do you remember the part of the movie where it was stucking? so you could simply add +/-1mins to this part and render those 2minutes to see if its also stucking or not.
i hope you understood this post because it was kinda complicated, my english sucks :P

ps: i didnt find any rendering software whitch is compatible to vegas project files. :(

but doesnt vdub only do BMP2avi?

Sure it can be used for compression etc.

virtualdub can do a lot. and for sure it does avi to avi! i even made it myself once. ;)
i dont have msn. steam or icq? :P
to import mutliple files simply open the first one and then click on:
File/Append AVI Segmenet
and select the file. it will be added after the first one on the timescale.
