Weird Lag/ Freeze in Gameplay

First: I get constant 100fps, use minimal resources, and get no ping spikes.

2nd: In just about every server now when I jump like every 5 or 6 seconds i get like a random freeze in mid air or whatever where I i just fall straight to the ground. It's getting really annoying and I have no clue what is causing it. I have no programs running in the background either.

happens to me when my music changes on any audio program.. 1-2 sec freeze :(

I think I have something similar... It's quite annoying. It happens less often for me than you, though. If you find a way to fix it, please tell. :S

supa try this
CTRL + ALT + DELETE go at hl.exe right click SET AFFINITY mark just 1 CPU not 2.
That's only if you have dual core procesor.

when ur in game, make sure that after u were searching for a server to play on, hit "stop refresh"

the same thing happens to me too.
