Kreedz.com - CS 1.6 KZ World Records & Maps

Dear community,

I'm thrilled to finally share a project we've been passionately working on for over a year. So without further ado, let’s dive right in:

I. Introduction of X-D maps and Recording Rules

X-D Maps are a new subcategory of records which have a specifically adapted ruleset in order to match the prestige of having a world record on kreedz.com. All maps that have a difficulty of Extreme and above (incl. Extreme-Death, and Death), are labelled as 'X-D' maps (although there are some exceptions, see down below for more information).

But before I dive into the nitty-gritty of the rules, I'd like to share a few words about X-D maps and how this will affect KZ going forward:

Since the times of akkord in the early 2010s, X-D maps have been gaining popularity in servers, but never that much to the point they were officially recognized on the official leaderboards of kreedz.com. And while some of our partner communities like kz-rush and RJ have tried to push X-D maps more, given the current meta of playing these maps, they were never quite 'integrated' into the world of KZ. In other words, we have never seen a ROTR for an X-D map, or an official Kreedz.com tournament using them. A world record using checkpoints on hb_mart wouldn't have been comparable as a world record on bkz_goldbhop. For that reason, we thought that it's finally time to unite all of these under the same roof, so any kind of map, no matter how difficult it may be, will be recordable on kreedz.com and the record would have the same weight as any other record.

We believe this simplifies recording and gives proper recognition to every quality map no matter its difficulty. The fragmentation of nocheck and gocheck records will no longer exist, as kreedz.com would actively regulate these type of maps too from this point onwards.

Now, back to the matter at hand:

Depending on the active record, X-D maps can be recorded with the following settings:

[+Gochecks] [+Mpbhops] (Default route)
[+Gochecks] [-Mpbhops] (Will replace previous route)
[-Gochecks] [-Mpbhops] (WIll replace both previous routes)

*[-Gochecks] [+Mpbhop] is not allowed as it would go against the spirit of other nocheck records.

As you can see, if a map is labelled as 'Extreme' or above, and doesn't have a record yet, a player will have the liberty of choosing one of the mentioned recordable routes. You can see this example with gbc_script_x.

Hello Community!

It's been a while since we posted a KZ Highlight but it's definitely the right time to do so.

Today Phinx has released his newest creation about the one and only propane.

This time we will focus on a process. To succeed once means to fail a thousand times and not give up. Throughout the years we have seen propane pushing the boundaries of longjumping to unbelievable levels. However what's quite often left unseen is the journey. Perfecting every little detail of the jump is indeed a process that takes time, effort and focus. But it takes an incredible amount of endurance and perserverance to reach what has not been reached before.

After a very close grand final match, the Tournament has concluded!

Hey everyone,

It’s hard to believe, but it’s already been one year since we officially launched Kreedz.com. For those of you who have been with the community for years—or even just the past few months—you know how much this site means. This anniversary isn’t just a milestone—it’s a reminder of how far we’ve come. I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on everything that led to this point—from the loss of Xtreme-Jumps.eu, to how we rebuilt it from scratch, to where we are today and what lies ahead.

Dear Community!

It's time to continue the 2024 trend of documentary videos, as we would like to introduce you to the newest video by Gorbachev_x.
At the time of writing, the main subject of this documentary holds the second place at the world record ranking. Winner of many weekly cups, jumpbug expert, shortcut enjoyer and the player who tamed the legendary fu_extreme - none other than shooting-star himself!

The video takes us through the journey, from humble beginnings, first world records, followed by shooting-star's perserverance to achieve greatness, to craziest world records with the most insane shortcuts Kreedz world had ever chance to witness. All that intertwined with various related footage, smooched by a delicate sounds of piano that leads us through this documentary.

Without further ado, enjoy!
