CS Update Out Now (We're Screwed?)
there are a lot of problems server side wich valve really needs to fix..
demos are fixable with a tool that updates them look on hns.eu
crashes are most enoying everytime a map changes or i join another server or lan it does that ,and now i have 100 choke on all servers , i never had that (only on hns servers)
set
cl_updaterate "100" ... not 101
if its higher you will be forced down to 20
crashes are so annoying, I can connect to server just once, second time (wich is also mapchange) my cs crashes. so I restart cs evry time before mapchange or server switch, to prevent crush =\
lgsl is fucked up @ protocol 48...
omg VALVE HATE US !!!

NOOOOO
too late
im 1339'th
no probelms! only thing is that cs crashes when i disconnect on lan!
having played cs for many years, i definitely believe the physics have changed
my guess instead of actually just adding a sound to when you try and crouch walk, they edited something in the game engine
i'm still waiting for valve confirmation and/or experiment results
they didnt change anything , its just in yo head.
Originally posted by eMTii wrote a mail to valve on this issue yesterday evening. If they respond, i may be able to tell you more exact details on what they really changed.
Do all demos still work for you guys? There's no way for me to test the update now (I'm at work).
But what i read so far doesnt seem too bad after all. Could have been worse (really..).
You know they wont - you just waisted 5 minutes of your life.

Actually they don't hate us - they just don't care about anyone.

About engine... If amxx most of times result in a crash and doesn't work properly - they changed it totally.

But there is at least one good news - eDark said that new update didn't effect fps-death so here we already have 1 reason 2 not kill valve. :D
looks like they fixed the issue with crashing on mapchange. i had a small steam update today and now i dont have those crashes anymore.... btw cj/doubleducking etc sounds like always. there isnt any difference to pre update o0
we are over 1745 signed already on petition.
I heard one of the Valve Developer said the update wont get rollback. He said he dont know until later. Well, if valve dosnt change the update back to the other, people will quit cs. http://store.steampowered.com/stats/ check stats. check how fast it goes down.
Well, what i felt like, was that STRAFING, seemed to be "changed" - dunno if that was just me having an offday, but i did 252 lj etc in some really weird ways, cj'ing felt like shit. Other than that i didn't really feel a big difference, so the dramaqueens who goes "omg cs is doomed" should grow a cock
