Why i don't have HDV 720-30p intermediate !?
I just choose NTSC DV Widescreen but when i export i says that that format doesn't support x264 codec :(
lol where is the problem? its just a template... a preset. as far as I know its just some settings summarized.
you know what I mean? (cuz its hard to explain imo)
the prob is that i dont have HDV 720-30p intermediate and i wanna know if i've to download some codec packs or sth...
......and the not-problem is that hdv 720-30p intermediate doesnt mean anything special. that are just presets of the settings.
it just says 1280x720 with 30p and dont know what anything else, but you can choose the settings manually and you will get the same result. the template just makes it faster and easier if you want to use these settings. But I think you should always set the res, frame rate, bitrate and anything else manually because different clips need different settings imo
and what of the shown in my pic templates, should i choose ?

@ c0l3ec7i0n : what rK is trying to say is that you DON'T need to use one of those templates... build your own one... choose DEFAULT TEMPLATE UNCOMPRESSED and then set up everything the way you want it (resolution, fps, pixel aspect ratio, codec, etc etc etc...)
@ Kunqui : i can upload my usual render settings i guess... even tho i haven't made anything in quite some time... :)

The selected codec doesn't support the current render settings".Isn't it be easier if some1 uploads this template cuz obviously the settings support only that template :(
man, seriously, the template has nothing to do with "special" settings which you cannot achieve in the normal custom section in vegas lol

First of all you got to render your movie in 2 files : uncompressed .avi without sound, the sound track in .wav, both of them have to be named "Movie.avi" and "Movie.wav".
Place them both in the same folder, with Legion.bat, then run it and just follow the instructions.
emh wth is this? i rendered my 2.30min movie with this, and i can't watch the movie in vlc o.o Its lagging like hell, any tip on what i can do? rk u r saying this is shit, add me on steam and help me set up a good codec?^^
mixkind, just do what ndR said and download legion, or u can try ripbot to.. very easy to use
can someone help me ? when i upload the movie to youtube it says converting failed :/ what i have to do ?

actually i can recomment Legion to everybody whos looking for a sweet compression and good quality. basicly it's like megui or any other encoding tool but 10x faster and easier to handle...
it's genius compared to all methods i used before
& ofc to point that out again, the guide shown in this thread is just crap
