As ndR says, people remember best the worst about everything. If I had to talk about our president, i would say that he became president 'cuz he said that if he become president he would get all the foreigners out of the country using a karcher..

But well there are many other things instead of talking about the governement, rather is to talk about the country itself ;)

i've played wow for about 2 years, across many realms and shit and to be honest, like 60-70 % of all ppl there are scandinavian. its a rly big game. also theres alot of scandinavians here aswell :JORR!

owned summed up america's schools pretty well, but for everyone who said how long it would take to make $60k in your countries, ours isn't looking much better at the moment. inflation is gonna blow up soon, paired with the stock market still struggling things could get interesting here.

anyway, theres robberies and crimes in all countries. america has plenty of it, but its more isolated, and doesn't really affect the affluent parts of the country. and to whomever mentioned BMWs, they are even more expensive here, and thats without the german engines. a 93 3 series here could still cost $8-10k, while a new one is ~$40k. but the american engines are still nice. i bought a 525i a few years ago and its very nice, even with now 200k miles on it. so i would have to say i enjoy the diverse choices available here (my family has 2 bmws [german] a ford escape [american] a chevy truck [american] and a lexus ls [ japanese])

lastly, the girls here are fine with me, it just depends where you go. but can't complain with the college life =D

The thing I don't like with american engines is the way they handle gas... Your engines simply use too much gas, you never tried to work on new technologies so as to reduce the gas consumption, whereas in Europe, we did ^^

But for a long time, gas has not been expansive in the US, it was bringing more money to the petrol lobby, this can explain that ^^

i actually live in PA, near philadelphia. there are girls like that everywhere, maybe not as many as in NYC, but i can see what you might mean from a visitors point of view.

as far as the gas, you're probably right. the cars we have all get around 25-30 miles per gallon, which isn't bad, but the suv gets 15-20 and the truck gets 10-15 (when its pulling our boat, its more like 5-10 =o) i had thought the german engines were more powerful than the american ones, so if they do infact get better mileage, thats very good.

but yes, gas is much more expensive there. 3-4 euros a liter, is that right? here its $2.50 to 2.80 a gallon, so much cheaper.

as i think, avatar and me are the only austrians in tha community^^, austria is just a little sweeeet land in the middle of the "alpen" if i can call it like this in english ;D
but pplz in our country are not very nice so i cant recomment traveling to austria if u want to get friendships ;D but anyways austria is cewl =)
