Yes, you only tied because there are always bunch of people that are HIDING their records, and when someone does a wr then they come out from the closet and say that you actually didn't do a wr.. haha, this is so funny and so fucking ridiculous.. HOW THE FUCK CAN SOMEBODY DO A WR IF IT'S ILLEGAL? Protocol 47 is illegal, so wtf, i can do 250 bhop also with gravity 700, it's the same!

who cares who did it first or second or in protocol 48 or whatever. the point is he did it, and tbh, its not as hard as everyone seems to think.
imo bj hasnt really been 'geeked' to its full potential, ive done well over 248 stats many times and im bad, people have also done over 250....so, 247 block, although difficult, is not uber and will be beaten soon i believe.
grats dsnts and to everyone else that has done it, but theres no point fighting over who did it first cause 248 is coming.

Jumping with protocol 47 is the same as jumping with protocol 48. Tedbundy did the first 254 with this protocol 47. The ridiculous here is that you are comparing this to 700 gravity.
I can compare also killing and stealing.. just because killing is "harder" crime doesn't mean that stealing is allowed - the same accepts for the protocol version and cheating. And who cares if it's the same, why can't i see it on lj records list? Oh maybe because he's using an ILLEGAL version of this game..?
Oh and about t3dbundy.. this example is just stupid. He jumped it many years ago when the newest protocol was 47.. now it's 48 and since i can't see his (the guy who jumped 247) demo in here, it's recorded after protocol change.. so not legal? :]

That's pretty unconvincing. Now let me quote you the rules and why protocol 47 isn't allowed.
"/ NON-Steam rules
* NON-Steam demos are not allowed.
-> Get a legal copy of Counter-Strike if you want to submit record demos on this site.
* You are not allowed to use one of the old protocols (eg. protocol 47).
-> Changes in the protocol might affect the game's physics which could cause slight advantages or disadvantages compared to the latest version."
Let me tell you now that there are not any differences in the physics of protocols 47 and 48. (If there were any, then the all 47-protocol demos would have been removed.)
So d3x didn't get any advantages of using the old protocol.

Do you mean non-steam? Even if he did, that doesn't mean that he isn't the first guy to do a clean LAN demo of 247 bhop.
well.. haha, if it's against the rules, it's illegal, so yes maybe he jumped it first or fifth or whatever, but why do you keep saying me(us) that? Okay, congratulations, you successfully jumped world record but your demo is illegal! So i can't really see a reason of telling who was the first, as far as it isn't a legal wr nobody cares about it.
