dex7eR` did a LAN clean(not-cheated) 247 first ---> He has the WR.
Now you are wrong, because you think that since XJ doesn't host non-steam demos then such demos cannot be world records. Yes, they can, and dex7eR`s demo is a world record, even if XJ never puts it in the records page.

I understand your point, but since this is an official community, anything that isn't accepted by this community (i mean demos) isn't "official" too in my eyes. But alright, i suggest to end this discussion now.
1 year ago steam and non-steam was on the same protocol, 47, so the demos were "legal", now the protocol is 48 for steam and 47 for non-steam, only players who have steam officialy records a "legal" demo. I can say that 1 year ago steam and non steam demos were accepted because was the same protocol, now they make a difference, maybe the edges bullshit differs on non-steam and that could be an advantage (I don't think that, just suppose).

it doesn't change ANYTHING :S maybe if you do like Grrr and make a random script, test it on 47 and then on 48. then you'll see if there is any difference

I can promise you protocol 48 changed NOTHING, completely NOTHING from game physics. Especially airmoves. Your strafes are same in protocol 47 and protocol 48.

Of course there is some kind of difference. Half-Life engine is unpredictable. But nothing to do with protocol change

dont matter who did it first, what does matter is who did first with XJ approval things, don't matter if p47 and p48 dont give advantage (according to some most people), the rules are rules and Dsnts done 247bhop FIRST
