About spr1n's demo on kz_cg_wigbl0ck
you can't spray clip texture, kkthx

are u sure u can spray on invis walls? i really dont know.. but i dont think so :/
As I remember bibo sprayed invisible blocks in kz_man_neighbourhood while recording.
on neighbourhood you can on gigantbean you can't
You can't, or if you can, tell me how.

calling someone kid doesn't have to just mean someone younger than you..
i can call omilo a kid (and hes ancient) cause i could kick his assss np.
and more on topic, i'm pretty sure there are some clear walls you can spray and see it

You can't spray kz_man_neighbourhood minimap for example, and about giantbean should be the same case....but I don't know, maybe with some plugin *xpaw alert*
well i really know nothing about mapping but on one of dropsys maps (deepbluesea) you can spray on the clear walls that are near the end
He used glass texture and made that 100% transparent
instead on giantbean you can't use any spray on that invisible wall because the map was made with "clip" texture that can not be sprayed
we talkin bout practice! not a game not a game not a game, PRACTICE!
Isn't it possible to calculate the exact probabilty of doing the edgebugs that he did, using eDarks formulas from the jb-guide and the admin version of fps-death? If you want to put an end to the "how much luck is required"-discussion, I mean. Basically this discussion is about Pulsar saying the probability of doing 3 jbs in a run is too small, and everyone else saying it isn't. Leave the skill part out and assume spr1n has perfect timing, then check the probability and hopefully we can put an end to the discussion.
Probability won't prove a thing. Even if it is highly improbable to get 6 by rolling a dice 6 times in a row you can in fact do it in your first try. ;)

Very true, it is definately no proof but it should give some pointers.
about 3 hours on lan doing jbs rly made a difference ... wow doin jbs @ 2000 speed (did 2 in one min, but i did't do any other after that about 10 mins)
Originally posted by GrrrScripts doesn't have ground/above ground detection, so only via looping is possible to do JBs at random places(and still has some big chance for failed JB).
For 100% success with script u must start from the perfect position(accurated to units), and its almost impossible to use this method in run.
2nd way for 100% JB is using hax that has "above ground detection" - but unfortunately some haxxzors said that its impossible to do it
and also the chance for doing JB is based on u'r fps and the velocity u got (with more fps it increases, with more velocity it decreases)
ex: its harder to do JB with 1000 gravity instead of 500 / why? - cuz u need faster reflex to do the action
the same goes for the fps: u're 6 units above the ground, but u got 1000fps instead of 100, which means u got 10x frames more = 10x better reflex (human eye is 24 fps based, if it was 240 fps - we would be like flyes)
anyway the today's possible methods for doing JB with cheats are:
-slowmo
-looping script(not .cfg ofc, some program)
-plugin which does JB, (locating the ground, and doing the action)
EDIT: he could proof that he doesn't cheat if he do some handsshow JB movie
Its possible to make a hack that does the whole run for you, but that takes like a half year of work, cheating jbs is really ez with the right software

Plugin wich allows you to save your movements...?

Wouldn't that require to first beat the WR to allow the plugin to record your movements? Duh!
EDIT: Or did you mean just the JB? I can't see how that would make things any easier anyway.

Yep, that makes no sense. You would need to record a jumpbug on that place where you need (3 recordings @ wigbl0ck), then you would need in a run start playback from a perfect place, wich would be hard as well, also if you would have bind to replay specific recordings (or what ever) those command "packets" would be saved in demo file.
maybe plugin, which when its on it does unducking and jumping when u'r onground?
That would be hard to imulate i think, + it would work 1/5 IMO

oo well you can tell how much i know about mapping -_-
if you used some kind of hack that had a jb replay, couldnt you just bind a button to perform a jb? so instead of duck+jump you could just time one key correctly? but idk
3 jumpbugs just doesn't sound right.
Sounds "too" lucky.
that's not a plugin/slowmo he made it yesterday on xj cup (xpaw is safe lol)
jb script/bhop script are the same shit to detect (realy ez)
I think it's time to say he is good and lucky;)
