I don't know If its the correct forum to post a petition or a complaint about banned people, but I think Offtopic is the best one imo..
Well lets go, some days ago I was thinking about injustices that I see on this web. First one that make me so angry was the heL's one, what I mean? I don't have nothing against him or something like that since I never talked to him and I don't have any relation with him. But, ok guys what I am trying to say is: He on the first step was banned permanent, everything was alright but after that, XJ received a lot of asslickers comments, nationalist comments, and finnaly His statement...that make to XJ change the warning time.

about his statement: I don't know, I am not studying laws or something like that. But what I know is that If someone broke a rule, He must pay the price.... whoever...

I am not looking for a permanent ban because I don't care if hes gonna be unwarned tomorrow or in one week.. but the attitude of admins in front of a situation is being every time more unjust for some players, for example avatar, NFS and se3ker case, They make an understandable statement about their situation and they keep being perm banned.. and there were attitudes that we have seen worse...(Tess & Siw slowmo and They are currently playing/recording)..

What out my point and let me see if I am wrong or not, but I see that and I want to share my opinion with everybody.

Chau! :D

and he didn't submit any cheat demos himself, and i dont think recording for a friend is perm ban worthy especially when he beat one of his own maps.. why not just consider it multi account and 1month ban or w.e?

basically its not as cut and dry as ban/warn/nothing. or at least it seems that way from an outsiders pov

The answer is really simple:
Every player who cheated on XJ were given a 2nd chance, the best examples are Tess and $iw, and this was for something (in my opinion) way worse than what HeL did.

After 6 months banned people can send an essay and get unbanned if we consider they learnt the "lesson", since HeL had already wrote a statement which we can consider as an "unban essay", he will get unbanned in 6 months.

TlofT21/01/2010 03:04

you might wanna get a temp-demo checker for that time.

koukouz mapperrecord holder21/01/2010 04:15

Kunqui, try to think just a bit... if hel wanted to record a map with a cheat, it's his fondamental right. since he didn't send the demo hisself, no one can prove that he wanted this demo to be sent to XJ, this means that if we can't prove that he is really guilty, he is innocent. That's how laws work.
you could have called that an injustice if he sent the demo with his account.
about nfs, avatar and s3eker, they all recorded ljs with their knifespeed (which is absolutely useless, one would have been enough) and they sent the demos with their own account. since the evidences are obvious, their statement were kind of useless, because it's kind of impossible to believe them.
PS: I hate you

it was more credible nfs, avatar and g3eker statements, than hel's...

statements are useless, since they cheated and sent the demos with their accounts, they have to be banned (they can say whatever they want in their statement, so how to believe them?), hel's statement was maybe not credible, but like I said, he didnt submit the demo hisself. btw I think his actual ban is only for elfen's fake demo, and not for the cheated demo

Oh, so creating a multiaccount to send a cheated demo makes you innocent. That logic doesn't seem to work... Seems like you don't question anything heL^_x says.

I kind of agree with kunqui. heL^_x wasn't treated like the other guys who got banned.

EDIT: By this I mean that the LJ cheaters didn't get the 6 month ban even though they wrote the essays. Or did you actually never intend to give heL^_x a permanent ban? Making a demo for a friend is 6 months ban alone + that cheated demo... That's kind like a third chance then...

koukouz mapperrecord holder21/01/2010 17:21

lol Flibo, you didn't get the story... he didn't send the demo, even with a fake account. Some one else had the demo, and this guy sent it

If statements are useless in your opinion, why his warning time was changed?..
That word "cheated" cover heL's situation too, He cheated, he did something wrong, and after whining and make a rare statement, He will get unbanned on 6 months, whats the point?... I see something is wrong here...

btw +1 Flibo. How can you prove it? He recorded the demo, end of the story

PS: I don't give a fuck about your hate.. kukz If you want to start a discussion, create another thread, please...

Actually you don't need to prove it, innocent until proven guilty. That is how law works and is better suited for society than "burn him, he's a witch!" ;)

No, not end of story. I am sorry but your case doesn't hold up to scrutiny. It is irrelevant what you think about a person but if you can't prove something you can't take it for granted.

[blockquote]but the attitude of admins in front of a situation is being every time more unjust for some players, for example avatar, NFS and se3ker case, They make an understandable statement about their situation and they keep being perm banned.. and there were attitudes that we have seen worse...(Tess & Siw slowmo and They are currently playing/recording)..[/blockquote]This is wrong because admins had to admit that they can't prove it was hel who sent the demo although he did record it. Trio knifespeed's statement was so unbelievable that you can't stop and laugh. I mean, if they wanted a test they could contact faker, tell him it is cheated but ask him not to tell eDark. That would be real testing.

Also, regarding Tess and $iv, everyone deserves second chance. Otherwise, society you want to create means crime => just kill yourself.

Not a pleasant society where you don't consider facts such as rehabilitation, growing up as a person, etc.
