The demo made by heL was unofficial WR, he sent it to elfeN (with elfeN's name). So heL made a wr for elfen, which means that it is illegal, and wtf?
why would u keep a demo of that if you won't make at least a movie, or post it to places?
vonch wasnt it supposed to be that hel uploaded it to kzfr and some kid downloaded it, changed the name on the demo and sent it to xj?

Actually you don't need to prove it, innocent until proven guilty. That is how law works and is better suited for society than "burn him, he's a witch!" ;)
It is how the laws work, but not in this case. In this case he already is presumed to be guilty for somehow having sent a cheated demo in XJ. So basically he is guilty until proven innocent.
EDIT: TlofT, you can't edit demos.

But you record demos for yourself as you said...about heL, He upload his demo to KZFR (correct me if I am wrong) under the nick "H4d3s", and then heL makes a statement and it says: "my friend upload my demo without my permission"... How can we believe that? How can you prove that? You know, that conversation could be fake, He could use proxyIP. Or whatever... Always there are 2 possible ways to believe. The possible truth and the possible lie.

Its about proofs. I know that heL recorded his demo (xPaw or Remake I cant remember who was, show it) using a fake nick to proof how unstable can XJ be, why he did that? spr1n suspicion.. About that He wanted an undetectable plugin, he request it. He insulted too to spr1n accusing him of be a cheater...
XJ Changed his warning time, but what's the evidence? Don't tell me there is no evidence because If there is no evidence he should keep being perm banned..

@flibo: well u can, from names over steam id's even to certain movments in demos. you can edit it with the right tools after the demo was recorded, it's pretty damn simple. when it comes to movement you gotta ask MoNk or another lowlife hacker
but i dont think it was the case with hel just in general this is possible..
also right here should work the guilty until proven innocent pattern as you said flibo + if you start xj from the basic foundations of law you cant even ban 1 single cheater.
what's up with siw and tess? if they said their steam & xj account was hacked to submit cheatdemos how will you prove em as guilty. that's the point where a internet-community ends and you can only balance it from the given evidence.

I defended heL, and Kunqui defended siw and tess. Because, I guess, you are friend with em. And I clearly admit that if I defend hel, it is mainly because I like him, not as a sucker. The TRUE story about elfen is the following : Hel and elfen know each other in real life, and heL recorded on elfen's pc while he wasn't there, he recorded with his nick and all these stuff, and sent the demo on his xj acc, because he likes him very much, and he wanted to do him a surprise. OK WTF BAN THIS GUY. On this point I agree with you, he is a baaaaaaaad boy. Then, I don't really know if he sent the demo as Hades or if it was iLLo who sent him to kzfr too. Anyway, KZFR accepted the demo first. Who is guilty? Hel clearly known or iLLo clearly known that KZFR is so fucked up that they don't even check some demos, it was funny purposing. and then iLLo sent it to XJ under "Hades" name, kewl story. Now heL wrote a statement about it, maybe he's lying, maybe not. But well, all of this is fucked up, it's a game, not your own life. It's all about "i believe you" or "i not beliv u! u cheat!". XJ believed Tess and Siw, they are now recording. Why couldn't 'em believe heL ?

The point I'm trying focus on, is that heL never tried to cheat in xj to get wr or fame or whatever. We can clearly say he's skilled and clean. The mess he did with fake nick demo and stuffs, is his msitake and he admit it. I think it's fair to don't perman him, because for instance in siws and tess case, they both tried to cheat and lied to everybody (what is miserably sad, but they still got second chance). heL didn't cheated in that jumpbug demo because he needed that wr, it's because he tried to substantiate his opinion (but in stupid way). This stupid mistake + demo made for another player (in which case it's even imp to define if it was planned to be submitted) = half year ban which is fair enought in my eyes.
we all know that if the person who sent the demos would have been another player, not very known in xj, he would have been banned permanently; but that person was a very good and very known player.. that's why his bann time was reduced..
btw, i think 6 months is good in this case.

ye but the kzfr people when they see xj version of the wr, they will see its exact same demo (dif name) but movements are completey same

@kaffee, why u say "can edit demos after recorded with some tool", this shows u have idea how to edit demos, and then u mention "MoNk" and try to turn all blame on him.
and i still think 6month ban is not right, it's injustice i think just because heL was a "known" player

i am able to edit certain stuff like names or steamid's in demos because it is rly damn simple, just as editing small stuff in a website, u need like 0 coding skill to do it
when it comes to editing movement i got 0 clue, that's were handycapped fags as monk come in who spend 90% of their time on finding ways to hack and 10% on playing cs. i actually have the proof that monk is able to edit the movement of demos, dont bother to post this here, he's already ludicrous enough ;>

The fact is that, like FoF explained in every way possible, heL don't need a cheat to take a demo, and obviously not a cheat like this one, which is the most easy to bust using the human eye. Of course, XJ know heL, of course he gets maybe a better bantime than any other guy, but it's because he's known as a very very good player, and more, he doesn't even send the demo to XJ himself.
6 months is alot of time, you guys should really see what you say another way, come on you wanted him perm ban for a demo he didn't even send ? I more think that you guys try to get famous people banned more than the normal time.. You all are saying that they don't get the ban they deserve etc etc, but 6 months dudes, hey. 183 days ! 7625 hours, wtf.

Before you throw around with juristical terms you should try to get involved more deeply actually...
If elfeN does homicide on XXX with heL'x gun it doesn't matter (for heL'x) if elfeN did it on purpose or not and we or the jury doesnt have to prove that it was in heL's interest that elfeN killed XXX. The simple fact that it was heL's gun is indicating that heL is guilty, too, and will get him punished (extreme example, but easy to understand). Pretty much the same applies for the bare fact that heL had recorded that demo and it got submitted to XJ. Both of the guys got punished, the major punishment for THAT single breach of the rules was given to elfeN tho.

If you really think it's a fundamental right to make a cheatdemo with a friends account (what positivte intentions other to fake and betray people could this have at all???) you should think twice before trying to question our decision tbh...
About the essay... ndR is pretty damn right, heL'x wrote a statement that was meant as an essay, that stated that he felt sorry and regrets what he did.
Totally different to this NFS and the other people lied to the XJ staff at first several times and only revealed the whole story after they saw their lies won't succeed. After this people like NFS even insulted admins in private and threatend to come back and cause more damage.
This is NOT the way to get your second chance and we judged according to this incidents.
P.S: Just like some guys mentioned before, I really think their statements are pretty much ridiculous and untrue. If you want to test a cheatdetection, why do you need 3 guys to send demos instead of one guy? And why do you send multiple demos? When I first talked to Avatar he was denying it all and even got chrizZo involved to defend him. That's not testing a cheatdetection, that's just lame and false.
