thexdvl, that's interesting, why don't you try to fly like a bird in the sky, when you're under the influence of drugs, tell to yourself "I'm faking bird" and jump from a buliding.

Yeah, i knew someone will misunderstand what i said. Well, just concentrate your energy into positive thinking, its just a regularitie. It is like that and is seen many times in life.

I know I am just kidding :)
Kreedz requires patience, empty the mind, and calm down.

ahh...
-MOTIVATION! Without motivation u can't do nothin',
we can talk about shnz, kkz, kelta too ...
-GEEK! Geek is one of the important sh*t
-MOUSE! Someone says "okay i'm good without g5;g400;g500" This can be real to some aspects, and dependent at all from mouse.. You can do only easy wr's, to be like someone of that "PRO5" must be focused, not playing for rank and practice.

I've been thinking a lot about the wr holders. In my opinion, yes they are geniuses.I they have so much potencial, but unfortunately unrealized pretty often.I am 100% sure that if shNz,kkz, kayne, kelta and everyone else who is obviously so much better than the rest, could be the best in the world,no mater what they do.CS is just an option that they have accepted.

What i think bout those who beat hard maps just like that its because when a climber likes a map . . I mean love it . . U play it more . . Days , weeks months etc . . U have to learn all the jumps . Thats the thing u have to learn, the jumps and be alot of positive and most important risk in the map ! Without risk u wont do for ex: sc's or faster climb . . Geeking = learning, training .

Its like basket, driving , etc . .
Then everything is like easy if u really want to do a record . .

Cus there are mappers who dont play long maps . . .but they really good on short maps . . Weird jump maps , bhop standup , duck whatever its just if u like it . . Its ur map , u will beat it :D

bout mouse , any mouse with scroll up-down will do . .
Just learn it and will be normal .

Ps: ofc pc has to be enuff good with graphics , no lags fps down etc . .

Thats what i think.

In a game like KZ, where you are playing by yourself, there is little to no correlation in intelligence to how good you are.

Practice and talent are the biggest factors. Some big WR holders geeked for hours to get their records (practice), while others don't need to spend that much time to get them (talent). Obviously they all practice and have talent, however some are better at different attributes.

The less important factors (extremely important actually, but in todays world you wont find someone using a ten year old crappy mouse playing kz, so it wont make THAT much of a difference), but still enough to make a difference, are equipment.Another being environment - you won't be able to play as well as you could with constant distractions, and finally emotions and psychological state. Ask any pro player in any game, and they will tell you that they play way worse when angry, sad, or under pressure. For instance lets say someone is geeking a map for hours yet keeps failing and rage quits. After some time, when his mind is clear and or happy from something, he tries to do it again and does the WR on the first try. This feeling however, can come naturally by being confident in everything you do (especially in life, take note you no lifers out there)

Of course to think of some amazing shortcuts yourself and use them effectively comes with some level of intelligence, but not as much as they would hope.
Those are the only factors that contribute to a professional KZer, and I'm not wrong.
