It would've been smarter if you had contacted the admins and sorted it out with them privately first, rather than submitting the demos as records, and keeping silence until they make it into the list.
At least this way, you would avoid the ban and public humiliation. Not only that, they probably would appreciate you even more by coming to them first with a fully detailed report with everything they need to know about it (demos, settings, dl link etc).
Now you sort of made the good deed bad. As this probably will raise a lot of people's eyebrows, and especially those who looked up to you.
This situation could of been handled much better if you only had gone the safe route and reported the hacks to admins.
I recommend people who hold valuable information that could prevent hackers to bypass the system to contact the staff directly. Learn from this, and don't be one of those who tests the admins by submitting demos for the list, in all silence, and only then speaking up when getting caught or cold feet.
But overall, Lolz you did the right thing, I just don't like the way you did it.
What I do however like is that you took the time to inform others about this discovery. As this subject is becoming more secretive among the staff.
One more thing, please don't share the hack with others, as this will only make the matters worse. I sincerely hope you have that much respect towards the kz communities, and don't leak it.

LOLZ! Great thread. Im only disagree about russian jumper called in-flight, ive played with him on hns like in 2009-2010, we both were a big noobs but after a while i became one of the best hidenseek players, and in the same time he became a good kreedzer.
xj is more corrupted than russia

Guys, you should ask yourself the question - "For what I play?" Personally, I do not outstanding player on kreedz scene, but I always played for fun and always tried to improve my skill.
Personally, I think it's dishonest with ourselves to play and enjoy the success, gained not through my own efforts and with the help of something dishonest way! Shame on all who used this shit and did not hesitate to show off in public!
Due to such events XJ should reconsider the system of verification of demo recordings, because this system does not work and needs modernization!
You guys know what will happen if this hack is spread too widely: we'll simply and entirely close the WR section :-)

The only possible way to let this shit end is that u get a tool beside demo recording that checks processes, ram data, driver level for ring0 ring1 ring3 and on, and some other stuff so that it is simple imposs to hax for now. then after introducing new recording way all old records will freeze and a whole new battle can develop.

The worst thing is that the KZ won't be the same as it was,I mean try to imagine someday in the future someone who is not famous in the KZ scene come and his record is bkz_goldbhop and I am 100% sure that everyone will think he has that undetectable hack but he is clean,but no one will trust him.My idea is XJ community to create a program or something that you have to turn on when you record for XJ or LJ,CJ etc demo.I hope everything is gonna be okay and the cheaters if there are any to be banned and never let them to record for the big communities like XJ and CC.
