To be honest i dont really remember because at the moment i downloaded steam i directly moved it to my E drive..
But if i have to guess its probably like this - Computer\C drive\program files\steam..
I restarted steam a lot of times and nothing..

And i would like to explain again - did everything from the instructions and now i have in my sourcemods folder kreedzclimbing but still no game in my steam library.

EDIT: Reinstall and same thing happened..

Hi, please do the following:

1. Open the registry editor, by typing regedit into the Run box or the search box depending on your operating system.

2. Open the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder.

3. Scroll down until you find the Software folder and open it.

4. Scroll down again until you find the Valve folder and open it.

5. Click the Steam folder inside the Valve folder and look at the right side of the editor.

What is the SourceModInstallPath key set to? Please paste it here, thanks!

This one: "E:\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods"
Also type: REG_SZ

Are you absolutely sure it isn't in your games list? What is the path to the current game installation folder? Is there a gameinfo.txt in the KreedzClimbing folder?

Ok here is how i fixed it..
Complete reinstall of steam and then installed the game once again and this time it showed up in my game list..
Desperate move, but at least it worked..
Too bad that i cant tell to other people how to fix this problem if they were in the same situation.
After all thx for trying to help me. :)

Hi all!

There's a problem with KZ mod. When i play the game, i play about 15 minutes and my laptop crashes. This happens EVERY TIME and I don't know how to fix it. I tried reinstalling the game twice, but it didn't work so I don't know what to do know..

Hi, what kind of crash? Is it a blue screen? Does it just turn off?

The laptop just turns off...

The laptop might be overheating or you might be having a driver crash. The game itself won't make computers turn off by itself. Try updating your drivers, if that doesn't work, try using a program like Speccy (https://www.piriform.com/speccy) to monitor the temperatures of your CPU and graphics unit. If they are getting too hot, that would be causing your crash.

An easier way to reduce the requirements of the game is to run it in DX 8 mode, you can do this by opening the Steam launch options for the game by right clicking on it in the library and going to properties, then choose Set launch options, and add +mat_dxlevel 80 to it.

Right click on Kreedz Climbing 2.0 in the Steam games list, go to properties, then click Set Launch Options.

Demos go in the KreedzClimbing folder (where gameinfo.txt is), i.e. steam\steamapps\sourcemods\KreedzClimbing

To view demos you need to have the console enabled, to do this go to Options ingame, then Keyboard, click the advanced button, then tick Enable the Developer Console.

To view a demo, type playdemo [demoname] into the console. Alternatively, type demoui and use the controls there to load the demo.

How to update kzmod to the latest versions? I saw there were 4 updates but dont know where to find that .bat file or w/e it is...?

Normally if you have installed KZmod, there should be 2 icons on your desktop, 1 with updater and 1 for hammer... Otherwise go to your installation folder and open the KZUpdate.bat

hey guys. I've followed all the steps as suggested.

I installed the kz mod on the steam directory,

I ran the update twice,

I installed the source mod.

Whenever I try to start a tutorial map on kz mod 2 , or start a random map, the game crashes.

Any help?
