All these LJ-Noobs
The KZ-Community is going worse. If you wanna play a nice bhop or kz map, then all write rockthevote and kz_longjumps. A map without timer, only longjumping. And then, when there is in green : XXX jumped 245 nits : OH I AM SO GOOD I AM THE KING. Then they record LJ-Demos all the day and only Longjump -.- Cannot beat the easiest map, but LJ -.- This is soo Nooob... KZ isn't KZ anymore, all these Noobs only Longjump. LJStats was the worst invention since modern plugins. Lj-Maps are the worst maps.

i think its because there are guys that just wants to see theyr names on the page, and geek till they make higher and higher lj`s. cause its A LOT harder to get on a record page by doing a map...

i hate longjump cuz i did bad on longjumping , if we could do 254lj, we will like longjump of cause, hate sth just because you can't did it well :(
I don't see a problem with these guys. After all, its their choice. What i dont understand however, why play maps such as kz_longjumps on public server? Anyone care to explain?

true. i think public servers should have kz_longjumps in the mapcycle. ( or should, but not play always that one ) ppl always vote/nominate/askadmin to change the map to kz_longjumps.
i dont care bout lj, im happy if i lj 1 hour/week :E
and the " these lj noobs " should lj on his/her lan server, and not " spam " the public servers with kz_longjumps all the time

Now it was on LJs which were geeked. But i hate it from now on too because everytime on Digital Tech wants persons kz_longjumps that sucks so bad they should go on a lan server and play them there.
But now where are the bhop maps? i think there are gone now. Why? You didn't noticed yet? Oh well okay every new bhop map out there is only beatable which standups! So why don't we stay back in the past?

But i think i have the answer for the LJ problems.(I have nothing against young persons but it seems so)
In the last 2years KZ got famous and the 8-12years old children has found us too. And now they saw how to get famous in KZ by only doing some fuckin phreaking senseless LJs.
people geek LJs, because Bibo got with them very fast very popular and famous in the kz-szene. But guys it isnt worth it to geek it all night long... I trained Lj, too and i made 246on block and 245cj on block and i got over 250lj stats, but after 2-3weeks of training my kz climbing skill was extremely down. So I stopped geeking longjumps cause it isnt worth it. Now i cant jump 246anymore or get nice ljstats, but i dont care. I can climb and that is why i started kz ... Maybe in 2years i am a awesome climber and a good longjumper. The longjump skill comes with climbing maps. You get autmaticly a longjump skill in climbing maps. Maybe not more than 248, but thats enough ... Usually you dont need more than 245untis on kz maps ;)
jumping 245 units isn't good, especially not when it's off-block:Dbut just cause ppl do longjumps it doesn't mean they suxx in normal speed climbing:D and if ur good at longjumps its also easier to play a normal kz map:D

Also, backwards/sideways longjumps are boring and stupid/pointless, and when people say "I did 252 on the 250 block, so my rec is 252" that also annoys me!
It's called kreedz climbing for a reason, not kreedz longjumping :F

are you really just flaming that other players lj on normal kz_maps? u got semiclip so you shouldn't care at all.
if some1 says "uh i did 245, im so pro" - so what? let him think it, someday he'll notice he sucks. for the moment he might be proud that he finally did the jump he trained days..
for me this thread makes no clear sense sry... ô_O
many ppl dont have time to play a map longer than 20-30 minutes, and that is not enough time 4 me to record a hole map and break some records
From my point of view kz_longjumps is just a training map to improve your strafes, prestrafe and bhops. It's just like a training room for a boxer. It's the fight which is interesting and not the hours he has spent in the training room. With kz it's the same... beating a map with nice style in a certain time is the thing that matters and not geeking for months just to get a few units further.
There was a list about the best allround kz player in the kz history and it's very sad that many people ranked bibo higher than zhady. I would advise that people to watch demos like owtcity, eaglecliff or facility. Maybe they realize that this is worth much more than doing a 254unit jump.
