Some like bhops some like Lj'ing . Some like just climb maps. If you like to play kz in any way its good.

Longjump maps were included in very oldschool maps, too (kz_man_riverside), and were attracting people since the very first moment. SuPa's 240 was sensational at that time, and everybody wanted to be as cool as SuPa.

Also: You should be a bit tolerant, everybody should play and enjoy kz the way he wants to. If it's LJ's then let them play LJ....

Ya, I don't say that LJ-Parts or LJing on LAN-Server is a problem. But people who play Longjump-Maps on ONLINE-Server so others can't kreedz really is ****. And people just flaming around : "I jumped 250 Units without CJ yesterday, have a screen of LJStats !!!"

well if theres 9 pages you have to assume that there are quite a bit of people who enjoy practicing and showing off their bw longjumps...and i see no problem with that..i've said it before and i'll say it again..this community is a competitive one, whether it be demo's or longjumps or whatever, the point is that people enjoy this competition...I do agree thats its not right for people to be constantly changing the map to kz_longjumps, or to claim that their lj record is what the longjump stats say they are...but if people are able to enter a server and easily rockthevote to a longjump map, its an obvious sign that a lot of people enjoy lj'ing...and really if you want them to lj in their private server, why can't you also make the sacrifice and kz in your private server...if you truly enjoy simply climbing why not do it alone? or do you need people to rezognize your times? besides that...there are plenty of other servers out there to climb on....just my 2 cents :/

wow... i just looked @ the lj thread.. i remember when i got up there, there were like 4 253s and 6 252s.. now theres like a billion of each! so i guess its not hard to get it (y would it be? if we can do it, y cant you?) and yet ppl are happy about 240 stats.. sigh

Why I don't go on LAn to play KZ-Maps ? Kreedz is Jumping Kreedz Maps on Time. LJing is inside these maps, but not a special Map, LJ's are like SC's, they are inside maps, but no real maps. This is so nooblike to only LJ. I don't say what I think about drewbiE_longjumps ^^ I think everyone knows...

there're exceptions for everything and the fact that many ppl like to lj doesn't really impress me :) you should do the same. different people different opinions :P that's why i think enough was said and there's no sense in continuing this thread :S

I dont know, please tell me :) Delete LJ recs and maps... why? You NEED LJ, everybody have to train it to beat hard maps. How do you know the "lj noobs" destroys the community, if you registrated 10 days ago :E ? But theres one thing, where i agree with you. Nominate longjump maps and jump on 220 for stats on public is anoying :E If ppl having fun when ljing, do it, but dont destroy the others game :up:
since i watched you ljing PaT Lj's look friendlier to me *laugh* can't do them tho...it's impossible for me to beat anything...

i think having kz_longjumps in the server is okay, but ljing on any old map is stupid. the map was voted to climb not to lj on the ground.

i agree with clair but if a map is a big/hard one .. and there is a lot of noobs about the server .. the vote usually changes map straight away and if you only get like 3-4 tries in.. i guess people would start to lj or leave because it's boring when it happens almost every map >.> and the noobs usually vote for maps they have never even heard of or they just copy other peoples votes .. gets kind of annoying.
