Normal Strafes > Circle Strafes, because with circle strafes you cant gain speed in all frames.

Are you sure about that? Because there are no frames where you don't move your mouse left or right.
100% sure, with circle movements you just cant gain speedy in every single frame.
well i have a question
can any admin or someone check this demo of a 250 lj made by me i want to know if i made it.. cause im quite sure i did it but.. the plugin didnt show the stats.. (it was enable of course)

actually you can make circle strafes in everyframe too .. its easyer to make perfect strafes but the amount of strafes is lower .. i can make 4-5 perf circle strafes and with normal i can make 6-7-8 so i guess i'l say that normal strafes are better but it all depends on how you are doing em and so on ..
What is worldrecord in w-strafing longjumping? If there are such a worldrecord.
I remember a guy, who suddenly beated a record, he was a w-strafer, and were able to lj with it. I don't know how much, but it should be possible to gain units.
does it make any diffrence wich mouse i have? i have a wireless logitech oldschool crap mouse =) it doesnt boother me that mich, but, my max lj is around 245... and it seams like i get perfect strafes sometimes, and still i cant get above 245.. =) any ideas?

Coment(not anwser): Sometimes, when I am training LJ, on blocks to 220 to 243, on 220 - 230 block I did a stats on 228 block like 228 dis, 317 max, 270 pre and I stoped (automatic) on the edge. If I did this, is a edgebug?

After landing? Or you mean sliding off the block instead of landing on the block. If so, it's apparently not going to be accepted, since zenov did that on the 253block and his demo didin't get accepted.
I mean sliding off the block (sorry for bad explanation O:-))...one friend of mine "did" 251 CJ and LJstats didn't show him anything and I'm sure he landed on the block but slided (dunno how it's past tense of "slide") down...thx cheche
My question its about BHOP LJ. For do a loooooooooooong bhop, I have to do I LJ and a perfect bhop and strafes?

I dont press W, only something like a run + strafejump + bhop + strafes. I jumped 210 to 228 with this form. Is this correct?

Look... I've watched a CJ guide and in the pre you need to hold 2 keys (A+W) and when you duck you need to release "W" key, but I found a easier way -holding only 1 key (A) and get ~274 pre before CJ-ing, but I don't know do I have to release that key after ducking and press it again, or holding it :/

There is a CJ guide with a guy jumping 252 with 3 strafes, I dont like this guide, try to watch the more pros and the wrs.
I mean 274 before CJ-ing... but I don't know should I hold the key or press it fast again to gain speed from the CJ
btw.. I wanna ask.. do I have to do CJ on the dust2 jump (stairs -> box ) or do somethin like bhop ?
