- Is MaxSpeed related to sync? I mean, sometimes I see ppl doing higher maxspeed w/ less sync. Can someone explain me why?
- This may be too much but I'm just wondering... Can anyone record a movie of him moving his mouse while making 7 or 8 strafes with high sync (using a webcam or something)? Everytime I think about how I have to mouse the mouse to make 7 or 8 strafes with high sync.... I think is imposible for me. For example, my first and second strafe should be larger than the rest, so I spend more time with those two strafes and I have almost no time to make 5 or 6 strafes more.
I'd add some more random questions
- Does the horizontality of the mouse matter? Maybe if your strafes describe an horizontal line (like this ----------------) you'll get higher maxspeed or sth.
- Can I confidently jump w/ 200 ping? I want to know if ping has anything to do w/ jumping. I know FPS has nothing to do.
- Where can I find a demo from a top ljer showing him jumping at least for 2 minutes or something like that, I want to see more than one jump b/c is a hassle to see one jump and repeating it over and over again.
try the multitimes lj thread :) u`ll find there multiple jumps on 1 block :)

Hi, i could really need some help with my maxspeed, ive trained a bit lately, and i usually get 272-273 prestrafe. i do 5 strafes and get from 70-80 sync. But my maxspeed sucks, only from 300-310, what can i do to improve it?
use /showkeys, record your long jump and use ( playdemo "name_of_demo" 0.25) or something. You will see your long jump in slow motion (1/4 speed)

i never cj'ed before, but now i started doing them a bit
so you release w earlier than @ a normal lj and do this little "airstrafe" before you jump off...
is my feeling right that it has to be done fast and as a rather sharp curve?

Do yall have any suggestions for me what I could do to increase my distance. Coz' usually when I LJ I get 273-275pre, 325+ maxspeed, 6strafes and 75+sync. Yes I know stats its not all but I think I should come further then 248~. Anyway just give me some tip to what to try and stuff if you have, otherwise forget it...

hi. A some weks back i was jumping easy 240-243 with 5 strafes,but now i cant do 5 strafes only 3 or 6. with 6 strafes i got a very bad speed. how i can get speed 320+?
