Hey guys,

Please read the description of the video and do NOT skip the introduction.
DOWNLOAD Legion by Juggaknot: http://www.style-productions.net/?page=forum_thread&id=3813
DOWNLOAD Lagarith lossless codec: http://lags.leetcode.net/codec.html
Please post your results as video comments or in this thread.
More tutorials to come!
Best regards,
ndR.
SWEET! Thanks ndR!
Finally working! Thanks. I won't show you the clip couse it's from my our boostmovie but it'll be shown later!
When you choose the codec in Legion, keep in mind that Youtube cannot handle x264 auto-bitrate, this is why you have to use xvid.
Legion supports any output fps.
Thanks dude! Been wanting to use legion for a while, but never worked. Can't wait to get my computer! :D
why use lagarith codec if u can just make it uncompressed and then use legion?
nice tut btw :P

Try to render with uncompressed and try to render with lagarith, compare the file size and you will see the difference ;)
Lagarith provides the exact same quality as uncompressed, with a smaller filesize.

What u think about Huffyuv ?
Oops i find test. lagarith have better compression than Huffyuv around 10-30%.
Its really useful tutorial for newbies, who want upload video on youtube. Good job.
But i like custom setting, without scripts, cuz have better compression and low bit-rate if u know every function of codec Actually for my old pc.

8/10 it doesn't work. The only videos I uploaded which work perfectly are Surfology and some small ones.
But all the other ones didn't work at all, I made some research about it and it appears that x264 is the problem, because of such a bit-rate.
maybe...i didn't upload on youtube so much videos encoded simillar...maybe you're right...but as an alternativ for legion you can use(for youtube) the encoding with ripbot by juggaknot :)
actually vbr is pointless for youtube but who cares about youtube.
nice tutorial and I suppose its very helpful for people encoding with h264
I used Double NTSC but sometimes is lagging!
Is Double NTSC good? Can I use NTSC (30fps)?
You can of course use 30fps but the movie won't be as smooth as with 60fps
use 40 if it's laggy...and it will be smooth enough...the lag appears because of the "too high bitrate", your video card's gpu can't handle the bitrate too good...
I have a problem ;/. I have movie in the same folder as legion.bat. When i press "n" it says that i must press any key and than it's closing. What should i do?
PS. I want to encode movie without music now, cause it's a test only. It's working only when music is there too? Sry for my english ;]
PS2. Ok it's working now.

more fps doesnt mean better. 30 is enough
