Special icon for LJ recordholders.

I suggest a special icon for LJ recordholders. We have just only 20 guys, who have record in LJ section against 121 in usual maps. I think that this is a little bit unfair :D What do you think about it my dear users and admins?
P.S. Please, don't waste your time for "whocaresaboutlj?" posts.

OT : I agree, LJ recordholders do deserve an icon because I think its probably even harder to get into LJ section than record a WR.

i remember when lj section was nice, now this only attrac cheaters like lynn.
the future of lj is to disapear.
and yeah its harder to get into lj rank, so what? its harder to do 3 jb in a row so spr1n deserve an icon for that? the difficulty doenst mean anything.

Your premiss is axiomatically wrong because in LJ, the difficulty is what push you on the top ergo it means everything for Longjumper.
You dont think LJers deserve a sign for their achievements which took them years to reach ? Then you probably don't know anything about effort and dedication.

22/09/2013 21:53I quite disagree, if we are about to follow that logic, some trickjumps are hard as hell and for example, nor theddy, nor brian, nor IceVip got an icon but I doubt many people can do 15% of their trickjumps, if the logic is, hard means an icon, damn, we would need tons of icons

They deserve icon's like Record Holder's same on kz, record holder's got icon's.And those icon's gonna harm your feeling's or what? As PU9maker said that those lj's are way harder to make then kz wr, as and old lj'er I 100% agree with him.I wish XJ staff will accept this idea.

What? It's about records. Trickjumps are not.
So it's about what you can measure (time to finish a map, length of jump) rather than about difficulty (any hard ass tj)?

best case scenario is only icon for top1 on each category, and not for top5. But i still disagree.

I said this , comparing to some records such as spr1n maps that have so much more dificulty than other and he is still treated like others record holders.
And i think your premiss is wrong, just because i said that difficult doenst mean anything(icons for LJers), you cannot tell that i dont know what is effort and dedication..

And this is a CLIMB community as some of you said, so i agree with the icon for record holders. But LJ is a LITTLE part of KZ, so i think isnt big enough to have special treatment like icons.

Disagree. LJ is not a LITTLE part of KZ. It's BIG part of KZ for many jumpers, including me. What is the most popular thread on XJ forum? It is thread about ljing (11k+ replies). And I think, that be on TOP5 of any technique is BIG enough to have special icon.

hns is all about cs 1.6 movements , so this isnt corret.
RR i know for you, LJ is a big thing cuz you like LJ, but for kz overall it is a small part. You dont need to perform a 255 block to have a wr or to be a good KZ player, there is so much more than jump 1 block, so lj is a little part of KZ at all, in not saying the people that like LJ are wrong, there isnt right and wrong.
On kz you need to know how to strafe, but not always on a line(like LJ) , you need to know a lot of different jumps cuz the blocks arent the same, you need to know about the engine of slow downs, bhops , cj , duck bhops, combos , even pressing the start/stop buttons matters now a days.
LJ is a small part even on the LJ section, is 20% (LJ, CJ,DCJ,BJ,HJ) so on KZ i think lj doenst need special icons.
Tbh if LJ have some value to XJ they woundt cut to only top5, they would stay with top10 or 15 i dont remember. They did it cuz LJ section was attracting a lot of cheaters and its too much work for "nothing".
