considering how big the universe is and how common earth like planets are, it's almost idiotic to believe that aliens don't exist somewhere out there in the vastness of space. ofcourse i'm not talking about small green men seeking to destroy the earth, but just general life forms whether they would be microscopial or intelligent.

take a good look at yourself, what are the possibilities of that what your book is telling you is true (when theres no evidence to back it up) compared to extraterrestrial life existing when taking into consideration how big the universe is and how common stars and earth like bodies are plus the fact that we know that we exist, so why would it be impossible for others to also exist? granted, theres no proof of life beyond earth actually exists yet, but it sure as hell is a lot more plausible than some all-knowing god.

so if god is beyond "our brain capacity" and he did indeed write this book, how come that theres multiple scientific errors in his book? also, just because that quote specifically mentions an expansion, it does not directly specify in what way they (or god) is expanding it - it doesn't have to mean that whoever wrote that book meant that the universe is expanding, whoever wrote it could also mean that they are expanding it as in expanding life in the universe among other things.

OMG how its metioning the earth is flat ?
i checked this verse on arabic and it means that he made on earth a good rest to live on it. it doesnt have anything with phisical meaning. this is the most reliable translation in english:"He Who has made the earth for you a cradle. and has made path-ways, for you therein, that you may follow the right way"
And for the period of 6 days its for the creation of earth and heavens. whats the problem here
Allah mentioned that "nor did any sense of weariness touch us" because disbelievers before said that he got tired and rested one day.
Also Allah has corected many other wrong beliefs. Like that Jesus is his son. So in quran you find chapters named "Jesus" , "Marry" where he tells the right story and call the christians to come to the right path.
i can tell you there are only three types of creation (regardless the animals):
- We (human beings) : created from soil of earth.
- The angels (created from light) : we cant see them, they are in the other dimensions (you talked about earlier) and they move in light speed.
- the Gin (created from fire) : we cant see them but they do and they move in light speed too
example: the devil aka satan (or whatever u call him in english) he is a disbeliever from the Gin kind.

It explains everything that exists without god, it doesn't contradict logic, more complicated forms come after simpler. Existence of god contradicts logic, because complicated things (god) cannot exist without previous simpler forms (evolution of god)
Religions make people obey, and thats what you do, you serve on purpose of mass deceit. You deny rationality and truth, you prefer to defend and justify something that you took for granted without filtering it via critical analysis. You don't have your own thoughts, what you are doing is constantly quoting the book written by other humans like you. You just believe its not, but once again, you are wrong. Because you don't know.
Might be that you are just afraid, you was born in this culture with savage religion and you try to survive. Denying gives you a fatal punishment. Thats instincts and thats normal. Then you dont have the problem, just the system does. However, it is not same for other religions, where people are free to leave faith when they realise things. it is indeed true that the probability of intelligent beings existing other places in the universe is very small, considering how lucky that we had to be to evolve into what we are today. however, i do think that microscopial life is very possible and i also think that the universe is teeming with such life. but indeed, no one can be certain of anything until we have solid evidence to claim either theory.
i simply just wanted to remind the religious dude about how silly it is to indirectly laugh at the fact that some people, and a lot of bright scientists also, think that extraterrestrial exists elsewhere in the universe when he himself believes in a god.

precisely. most of all 'scientific facts' in the quran (and other religious books for that matter) are simply just too vague and could be in interpreted in many different ways - people, well religious people, tend just to hear what they want to hear.

Every scientific fact in quran has been proven to be right is that a coincidence? about the universe about the earth about the sun and more. And still there are more to be proven in the future when technologie advance more.
You have no proof about non existance of god and youre still forgetting the basic rule of physic "that everything has come from nothing" so there must be a creator of that substance before the big bang.
You have to understand what is god (Allah) he is out of time or place thats why you cant ask where he came from.
Time is automatically exists after the existing of place. For example now if the earth stop rotating, there will not be tomorrow.
Now what is eternal life after death? Allah will take us out of this universe and its system and we will be out of time like him, we will live the past, the present and the future at the same moment.
If you want to have an idea about death (being out of time) just ask yourself where you were before you have been born in this earth did do you feel anything the last thousands years? we were dead and again we will come back to it. So when you die in this life you will find yourself directly in " the day of judgment" . You will feel like you stayed 1 day or less on earth.
this life is nothing comparing to eternal life (the true existing without time).
"How can you disbelieve in Allah? When you were dead, so he gave you life, and then he will cause you to die, then restore you to life, and then to Him you shall be made to return" (2:28)
Now if you believe or not its for you to choose. But please dont say bullshit about islam that you dont know.
Look what satan will say to disbelievers on the day of judgment:
