I have spent hours and hours spectating kkz trying and beating wrs. Definitely him. I don't know about new guys.
kkz was the best kreedzer I have ever seen. insane consistency, anyone else remember when he wanted to set a wr and did it in 30mins? And when people kept saying "oh this guy can only climb, not bhop" he went on to get famous bhop maps quickly. Same for longjumping, he can't 256? Give him a day or two. Shitty personality but amazing player.
Honorable mentions are shNz for years of dedication at the top, zhady aswell. and lewly was legit?

Yes LEWLY is legit. He streams a lot to this day, CSGO KZ tho, but he is still an absolute monster and easily sets WRs.

The first names that came to my mind were kkz, shNz, lewly, kelta and Napz in no particular order. No disrespect to the ones that came after that era as I stopped following a lot like I used to. SS, fyksen and patchouli are some recent ones that could also make a case for the GOAT title. But the real GOAT will always be Michael Jordan xD
I had my fair share of spectating players and analyzing wrs even if I sucked at kz. I joined way after kkz retired but my i d give him the credit he deservers.
My opinion is LEWLY, too bad the guy took 6years to actually record demos and he quit as fast as he reached top1. I ve seen all of his demos so here s why he s the best
Actually competing with others when everyone was so active and people like lynn, bibika and vns were "in-fever". Lewly used to make fun of bibika of how weak he is ( and bibika was top5 for sure) and also getting legit wrs against Lynn on westblock and goldwood. Plus he was a complete player on all kinds of maps, and his consistency was for sure the best, i am sure it was the best I ve ever seen. He had kz_luonto wr ( bad run tho) done in 5 minutes uptime and 2attempts lool. He also had synergy x2 or tunnels pub wrs done in 10-15 minutes.
And another thing I liked about him was the fact he knew this is just a game and it's meant to be played for fun. Guy didn t even bother to strafe or restart after a major fail and still got all the wrs. I guess smoking weed + kz = succes haha. His style was so natural...
Besides Shnz i think lewly was the only one with a perfect natural bhop. I m glad he keeps cs go kz alive as he is fully legit and has a pretty consistent fan base.
Let's be honest. The GOAT is me. Then far below me is 2nd and below where you have the people like Toff, SS, Shnz, Zhady, LEWLY, Brian, Supa, etc.
No real argument to be made. Yes I logged back in after a long time just to post this.

because of multiple skill: KELTA
because of consistency along the years: SHNZ
many other names could be in my list for sure, but is not easy to pick only 1 so i chose 4 xd.
ps: if i have to pick another name from nowadays, i would say that shooting-star is in the good way to become the next goat if he keeps playing and breaking records.
ps2: impossible to forget about zhady, brian or supa, the goats of the previous era.

Too many to list, so many people always pushing the limits with new techniques and increased mastery of the movement.
Even back before I started, with T3dBundy, NiconeN and others from pre-2008 pushed the limits and through time everyone tried to be better than those before them.
Everyone is the GOAT. ;)

10/11/2020 06:43g-Lp, he would be able to conquor the top and beat every WR if he really would like to and we all know it. Also his the best of performance live as tournaments etc. He also master all the LJ techniques in a high level.
