If you think so that only me is the reason why angie left? Then please quit the KZscene. I only telling the truth with my mapfeedbacks and with my critical maprelease comments when you take this privat then is mapping nothing for you.

And now youre blaming and putting shit on every thing.. this thing i cant understand .. ye its plenty of job for 5 map admins to check 25 maps because you have youre own lives i understand that but there are not 5 chosen admins so if you want to keep releasing kz maps you should do something about that... nobody asked me if i want to be an admin and i dont think im bad at mapping..........its just i dont hang out with the right people

we had a big question a few month ago about who wants to be in the mapteam. everybody who wanted wrote a text to xj and the mapadmins chose the people they wanted. u didnt wrote to xj so nobody knew that u wants to be part of the team.
btw i know that the system with our mapteam doesnt work. we will change it the next days

07/09/2007 09:28angie stopped because she started school and wants to get everything going. but either way.. she didnt want to map for a long time before she left, so we wont be seeing any more of her. and she was like the "leader" of the map team, and when she leaves without saying much... ofcause it will go slow for map releases and ppl start being angry. dont worry, we are fixing this.

Maybe thats because u dont check the maps a fair way, to me it seems that u test the maps made by mappers in the map-check team and mappers u know first and then u test the maps made by less known mappers.
For example:
I sent in my map one month ago, not a word for almost a whole month and then sadpuppy/shizuka's map corruo got released before I even got a feedback on my map.
I sent in before sadpuppy but u tested his map and released it without even saying a word to me about my map.
U did the same thing to dEMolite and he sent in sonic before I sent in ancientblock, ffs even if u dont like the mapper (like angie - dEMolite) u still have to test the map cuz its ur fucking job.
Thats why I think that the mapcheck team SUCKS atm and why I havnt sent in the final version of ancientblock. Im gonna send it in when there is a new mapcheck team that takes the mapcheck seriously.
I think that part of the reason is because theres no rules for order of checking the maps, when I saw the name "senskz" which didn't mean anything to me, I just ignored it, but when I saw "kz_sonic_e" which I had been looking forward to for a long time, I tested it almost the day it got put in the beta checks section.
Why do u guys need rules, ITS COMMON FUCKING SENSE TO TEST THE OLDEST MAPS FIRST.
07/09/2007 13:50i tested EVERY map in the beatcheck cuz i dont care who is the creator and i wrote my opinion to EVERY map. but angie left and it was her job to submit our decisions to the mapper. than we had a problem cuz nobody wants to write a complete factsheet for every map. Fraggyver did it after 2 weeks and all he get was flame and hate. BTW he left the team yesterday :(
(and he was one of the most aktive mapchecker)

07/09/2007 15:57i think we need a guy who tells the mappers something about their maps in the betacheck we need one who is aktive and won't tell names who has commented it like that but he have to post the mappers comments to the comments too... so fu and search a new guy and i heard so often that the mapcheckteam is lazy so create a new team with aktive ppl like frag

This sheet were used in the past. But i don't know it why it has been removed.
I don't know how they check the maps but they should do something like dEMolite says. For more fair checking... and also always check the maps according to the date they were sent in.

fact1:
maptesting together with the team or with the mapper.
fact2:
Team build up from one person from the old team.
fact3:
Maptesting server.
fact4:
Shortcut finders in team.
Fact answers:
Fact1:
This won't really work well. Only for european teammembers or mappers. Because half of the team members are european. So they are offline when the asia & american peoples are on.
Fact2:
Fast answer because this wont work. The person will choose then only person that he going to like. When he has privat problems with one, he won't pick him up for the team.
Fact3:
Passwords can be given out or even someone can join it easy by typing random stuff in. Sometimes the server can be without password with a new map. So someone can download it from the server then.
Fact4:
This will destroy the whole recordjumpers or even complete the map. Because the mapper will fix the shortcuts and then the map will be 100% shortcut free.
So when i take these facts together there will be three results:
Result A:
The Community will choose the testers.
Result B:
The XJ admin staff will make an application again and build up a team from scratch.
Result C:
The represented language communitys choose one from their admin staff to be a tester.
