I guess there is already a simular thread, but didnt found one.
Im just curious which moviemaker is the most popular in the viewers eyes.
So please tell your Top 5, and if your not too lazy explain why you think they are the best.
My TOP5. (no particular order)
Stabilot - Suprises me after each movie, how much he improves and tries new things. Always combines good looking effects with good music. (sAllow the movie, one of my favorites!).
boom.dll - His detention to details, and makes the whole movie with a matching theme which gives the movie a diffrent and unique style. (zyllEE on westwood, one of my very favorites!).
chosen - Always makes one of a kind movies, with some really unique styles. Makes the easiest effects look really advanced and awesome. Makes one jump with alot diffrent views, compaths/ineye which always look good.
k a f f e e - His movies amazes me eveyrtime, the feel he gets out threw the mix of good editing and matching music. Really cool color settings. (TiehJay The Movie is one of my absolut favorites to this day.)
Fact or Fiction - Always makes me wondering what he's been smoking :) Coz' he always got some really outlandish/fictional wibe in his movies, which is a good thing. Very diffrent wibe compared to others, with his choice of music and effects.

wow... i mean there`s soo many good editors in the scene atm... thats why almost every week there`s a movie news!
i cant pick 5 guys, and thats because each moviemaker has his own style. my fav moviemakers would be (in no particular order):
st0ka (for his coloring abilities)
chosen (for his uniqueness)
kaffee (he always sets the best atmosphere in his clips)
rK (because he`s a master at technical stuff and you can see that in his movies, everything is where it should be, every effect, every glow, everything...)
n1k1t1ch (because ... well... just check out his movies... the sync master fo sho!)
8ball1 (creativity at its finest; ndR once said : "Everything 8ball1 touches, turns to gold!" and he was right)
level2 (almost all his movies give you that OMFG UBER FFS campaths wowowow SPEED POWER etc. feeling :D )
rinkon (even tho he`s not active anymore, i learned alot about moviemaking by watching his movies)
Fact or Fiction (for what lalle said about the vibe he has in his movies, thanks to his awesome song choice!)
rayla (because he always seemed one step ahead of everyone regarding moviemaking, and because of his unique way of making movies)
Ma$takilla (because of "ndR the movie" , one of the best movies out there!)
Moxx (because of his unique choice of songs and because his movies always make me smile)
hytex (really powerful and unique style of moviemaking, top notch technical artist)
Hsonas (love the feeling that you transmit through your movies)
LazZe (your latest project really impressed me; keep going ! its only gonna get better from now on :P )
Nubz (even if you made mostly small clips, your latest projects make me look forward to your new ones... you`ve got a really great style of editing!)
mxml. (you set a nice mood in your clips, but you still have to work a bit more on the sync`ing side ^^)

well there are not alot people i look up to, just a few that fascinate me all the time for different reasons, i think those i have to mention:
chosen
since i started moviemaking i'm always waiting like a horny bitch for everything he's doing. except for fuck the gravity (which was cool too lol) i loved every single movie he did. he always comes up with something new & interesting, before even watching the movie i can already tell he's not gonna repeat his self and pull out some unoriginal mush. he could improve his typography sometimes, but in terms of athmosphere, ideas, cut/sync, music-choice his work is stunning in all ways.

a moviemaker that brought me back to the very basics of cs-films. the beauty of simplicity and the general asthetic of movement along with technical perfectionism makes him a master of art haha. i just love everything he has done although his editing-style varies alot i enjoyed every second of every scene he had his hands on

dr. praz is probably the most original & unique moviemaker in counter strike. imo he's the only one who's able to create a rly stylish symbiosis of graphical material and ingame footage, without making it look too factitious. considering he does like 99% of the editing in vegas that's even more impressive and shows the possibillities you have, also with a "small" technical editing-knowledge

a genius of video-art, the creativity gotta flow through his veins 24/7 lol. cant say much more than i love his style and everything he did. except for the movies showing his own jumps maybe, which always seemed kinda rushed and randy compared to films like Brian 2 or Ryderc Falls. he seems to be a rly ambivalent person too, reading his comments in xtreme jumps and looking at his work :D
as i said, i kinda look up to those 4 homos, they are definitely my favorite moviemakers but there are much more that keep me hungry for their stuff.. :] just to name a few atm.. stormzz, fof, rK, st0ka, level2, boom... koki!...

8ball1, cuz he is just da best in my eyes. dunno why, i even cant explain it, but there are movies, which u watch and u feel that u love it. its not because of uber mega effect, not because of uber mega jumps, but because the movie was made with that feeling. thats the way 8ball1 do =]
boom.dll, i felt in love in Kreedz moments :D thats masterpiece =] ofc the rest of his works were great also. nothing to say more
level2, i loved his last work, the same as i said about 8ball1 movies, i got that feeling while watching it. ofc he also got other great movies, like that CCC, very energetic one ;)
chosen, i saw people were writting, that chosen makes simple effects look really advanced and cool, so ye, i agree with that. c0ld movie was uber btw.
eeem, mastakilla ? even i was dissapointed in his last work, i loved his previous ones - that ndr movie and these short clips like 242 hj s3eker and 257 lj otcheto

EDIT2 CM4eg - the creator of many movies, and ofcourse, of my fav. N1K1t1Ch^&CM4eg sex movie remake. thats the uber guy, hes got creativity, technical side - effects, colours, music... that is just wicked...
