kreedz is dying
So hello guys, thread you are about to see it very worrying.
This very big world is dying unconsciously step by step.
I was chatting with Vidtam when he said that he will move to CS:source editing.I was shocked.I was like, why dude you are great editor.Then he said one really sad sentence.
''KZ IS DYING''
Do you remember of time when players asked movie makers to edit their demos, now movie makers are asking for demos :( and that is main reason why more and more players and movie makers are stopping to play.
XJ have really nice opportunity to revive KZ world, but they don't want to.U see that big KZ players are stopped to play kz and so on.We can only see some WR runs, but everyone can edit some run, very simple, put some song make a couple of campaths render and movie is done.
But point of editing is to edit some tricks some very nice movies like ''zippow plus'' and so on....
So XJ u have opportunity to revive whole KZ world like it was 3-4 years ago! Please try to do something!

Well,sadly most of that you have written there is true,but a thing isn't..Players ask people to edit for them.but mvms are rejecting because they're not LEWLY,ZippoW,IceVip, etc..I honestly think that new and unknown players have better tjs,and that they're more creative than the old ones..(respect to exception)..
You will have to understand one thing:Kreedz is dying because XJ launched kzmod and that fucked everything up...Sry Krater but they won't do anything about this just like they haven't done anything about some other stuff.
I just want to ask you, do you realize Counter-Strike as a game is 13 year old+ and KZ as a modification is around 10? Imo, KZ was going upwards until around 2009, after that people started leaving (big names), although comparing visits on cosy between 2010/2011 and now, the loss is around 20% of people.
Still, there's not much to do, just people get older and stop playing this game and young people start playing other games like COD or BF or whatever, but not 1.6 and even if it's 1.6, not KZ
So what if vidtam said that . He is not only one here and i really don't see any point (concern) here
I mean some players will leave, another will come . That's nothing unusual here, that's how it always was

KZ is not dying, you can see that XJ still have lots of releases, Cosy too, the point here is trickjumping, that's what people wants to edit and that is dying, people left creative and good looking jumps to performe double countjumps and call it trickjumps, trickjumping is dying because of longjumpers who have fun calling a 272 dcj block awp 360 spin with scope a trickjump... Nothing against such skilled jumpers but we got it, you can jump 272dcj, fine, go kz_longjumps2 ;) as I said, trickjumping is dying, not kz

I see no real effort to make kreedz more active, its just allowing itself to die more and more. And what nikola said is partly true, 1.6 is 13years old but it's still active after all these years with the average playercount (of all counterstrikes combined since kz exist in all of the games) being ~105k players the last time i checked.
And well Starcraft was and still is popular even after all these years, much more popular than 1.6 and when they released Starcraft2 their playerbase grew alot, this could happen too KZmod too, but the lack of interest from XJ makes the time spent on KZmod a big waste, probably not from the developer tho since they did something extraordinary.
There are just so many things that can be done to help KZ and CS overall spread more, and soon the era of "call of duty copies" are over, since that game is dying, and it's dying FAST which may get people back to the CS scene at least.
More cs player = more people finding out about kz too
Getting KZmod up on Steam Greenlight is also a possibility but It seems like that wont happen, for what reason they now have for not doing so.
100aa hns is still very active tho, twice as active as the KZ scene in my eyes

Kreedz is a mod made of different styles,such as Trickjumps,kz runs,lj blocks and stuff like that...You're right that I can't give big names doing nice tjs,it's just agreeing with my first post,there is many unknown players,I really liked dsn's "The Unknown" movie,not just for the edit,but for the giving a chance to unknown such as I am and such as many others are..All of here commenting are known for kz/mvm..about that STREAM idea that's a really nice idea but I doubt XJ will do anything,since they care only 'bout kzmod..

zyth's opinion is the most correct in my eyes. I mean whenever I want to edit something I get trickjumps only from kz_longjumps2 I mean whats the intrest in that. I won't really agree about that duck thing, any trickjump is good as long it is fresh and a little harder to do, does it matter how you do it, I mean trickjumpers if you can't come up with anything new check the Jumps Section in XJ you will find ideas for new trickjumps. Putting that aside. About the editing, I mean there are like 2 out of 30 people who watch a whole ROTW they are just looking up some parts and thats it, I don't believe that you are very intrested in new ROTW and watch them all, I myself only would watch a full ROTW if it was bkz_goldbhop or smth else. So my point is yes... trickjumpers instead of trying to take blocks on kz_lj2 try to make some new tj and don't be afraid to send it to some good moviemaker I mean not all people are arrogants and laugh at you, some of them may except your demo if is good ;)
20/05/2013 14:36Maybe xj is a bit inactive, but this is cuz here is hard to take any wrs.. but if you look cc or any national kreedz site, they are really active [on cc the relase happens every 3-4 days]

yup, and mainly because mvm'ers and good players keep using the "overused, too easy with AWP, hurr durr markaN style" attituide, imo it should be about the ART and Beauty of KZ.

I wouldn't agree on the ROTW part.
I have watched every XJ and CC ROTW/BOTW/MOTW/Classic/Whatever because it was chosen as the best for the week/month/any time period.

EDIT: Actually after a short read I'm impressed once again with this "good players leave - kz is over" idea. koukouz left - lewly came, zhady left - bibika came, kayne left - LyNn came (you gotta love it), whoever left - lrs seems good. What's the deal please.
