you dont get my point...
im pretty sure k3G and ndR had that bug while doing icevalley button sc and noone knows how many more where else, but NumB researched it and described how it works first.
i guess all who did it before made it by accident and did not rly cared about that glitch (i think so coz i didnt, in some cases i thought its a wb)
NumB is the one who made a techique of it and deserves to be an inventor, but saying "i was 1st who made this and stop writing shit you liars" is way wrong and stupid. thats why im writing this shit right now...

Omg... Finaly downloaded that movie. Dude... In that movie is a stuck-bug. Not a slide-bug. And sry for my words, but for people with thows skills it's possible to sb only cuz of luck (I'm not saing that thay are bad jumpers, maybe now they have some wr's of some countrys, but when making that movie they just coldn't do it w/o uber luck & didn't).

Fact is: watch any1 of my demos with sb before saing "old". Omg... Hate ppl like that. >:E

Haga^09/07/2008 00:22

haha nice with sb :D ive been doing it 3 times on awp_rooftops.. but i thought it was a "inverted" edgebug.. i got alot of speed.. :D

Okay, im a little too late now but i dont care ;D NumB is the inventor, end of story. But i actually managed to do the same thing the day before you made that thread, and two times in a row actually, so don't just asume that everybody who wrote here were thinking about stuckbugs or just lying.

The people that saw the demo the same day and agreed that it was just som weirdass edgebug.

Skizo_record holder07/11/2008 22:03

gj hard :D

Yes, but I made it about about three weeks before posting this, so what (just thought that people know about it, so what)? :D

P.S. If what I made my first eadge-bug in cs1.3 but it wasn't offical so wtf... The first one who talks out loud in xj forum about the technique is the offical inventor - it's a fact. =)

cC|SpiNe07/11/2008 23:42

I think I made it a long time ago, at the exact same place you did NumB, had no idea what it was. Mabye i didn't make this and it was just a JB. But I thought it was so strange being able to survive from such a fall.

yepp, youre absolutly right ;) but i just remember that you kinda "flamed" some people saying that they also made it. but maybe they said it in a bad way, i dont remember ^_^ ah, nvm.

NumB is the king of bugs :) No doubt about it!

This technice is very efficient, i have used it before (not saying its old) but it's a very good replacement for EB :)

Grrr08/11/2008 11:38

I think that its the easiest no fall dmg technique, next its WB , then DDB, then EB, and JB at the end :D ( I don't count falling into water)

THREAD UPDATED[/B]
First post was:

[blockquote]
This isn't a Jump-Bug & isn't an Edge-Bug & isn't a Wall-Bug & isn't a Stuck-Bug, so if you came here just to say "old" - you will be wrong & just spam
. This technique needs to be done near the slide wall.

I'm not sure how it realy goes, but i think it's like this:

How to do:
Strafe in the direction of the surf-wall while ducked @ the same time when touching the ground.

How engine works (thinks):
It works the same principle as in jumpbug. When you are 4 units above the ground engine teleports you down. Now if nearby there is a slide-wall & your velocity will push you in it, then exactly the same moment as engine will teleport you down, you'll slide up the wall a bit, so your vertical velocity will be higher then 0 (up), what brings us a result, that engine dosn't detect you touching the ground, cuz teleport to ground & slide up goes in the same moment (jumpbug principle).

P.S. The more horizontal slide wall is - the easier to do this technique. I wold say that it can be easyer then edgebug.

hi http://www.sendspace.com/file/cq726n (sb @ excavation)

first try... demo is from 6th feb

kafds21/02/2009 07:39

ah yes, slidebug. i did this a LONG time ago in de_aztec - if i recall correctly, i did it back then atleast twice!

bombsite a (i think, lol) from the boxes to the things sticking out from the wall, i was jumping with KeltA back then - i also thought that it was an "inverted" edgebug

btw, the spot in aztec is shaped like this (it pulls out from the wall)
\
.|
the spot is on top of the |. lol, i hope u understood.

Hm... I find it pretty weird that you people say that slide-bug is way easier than eb or jb or other techniques :O I've done the icevalley sc a "few" times, and I haven't even done that bug so often, maybe like 5 times overall.

Ryderc21/02/2009 16:12(edited 21/02/2009 16:13)

I made it too without understand it one time, 2 years ago :p

NumB21/02/2009 16:28

Updated first post so no1 wont go offtopic by saying 'old' anymore.
